Retina for me! Covered!
I was hooked befor the vid didn't really need any encouragement, just a sample to make me smile and shake my head, (Not nod, shake!) while saying 'Wow!
Shweeet!
Noooo Kaikoo say it ain't so!
ok please respond.... do you mean using this app in conjunction with other apps and running it through iAA or Audiobus will take an iPad Air 1 and above or
even if I'm running nothing on an iPad 3 but this app, no other apps at all at the same time that the iPad 3 is still not powerful enough?
Running alone fine! If you run with Cubasis, I can see more than 30% hike with one effect on par! My is Air 1. You judge yourself!
If with Auria! How do you think? Unless you freeze the track!
Not sure how to make pic larger on the page, don't see an option.
@KING777
That is the minimum!
Of course if you just one saw! Think about all the intensity with modulations on!
I'm well aware Bro, this is for peeps to see what SB say also, as it's not written in the AppStore description.
Guideline.
I said Bro there, hope that was correct...
@Kaikoo, roughly what is the longest time for an internal sequence? (Note sequence)
What are you ask about?
Can it record any note sequence ' C D E F G A B' and play it back. If so, how many notes or how long?
Can you create a pattern loop within it, without using AB or IAA?
Anyone..
I don't use auria or cubasis, I want to sequence it with an external hardware sequencer, no need for another app to be running this is why I ask.
and thanks for your insight. ..... but I do want to use all of the modulations with in the app.
No, it is not designed for note sequencing! That is the job for StepPolyArp! You can use SPA to have fun with it!
Monophonic is about one note at a time!
Your not fully understand my question. No worries! I understand your answer.
I know monophonic
king777 thanks for that as well.
I already said! Lemur is perhaps the best app to modulate it with Lemur's knobs and Lemur's own note sequencer! It can control this beast to whatever you try to reign it!
@kobamoto , you will be very happy with your hardware controller!
@kaikoo, yayyy! I have a good feeling that by the time I'm done with animals videos I'll have picked this up hopefully.
It's all good!
Not sure now how many more preset vids I want to watch! I want to be discovering for myself..
O! Maybe another hehe
the way I see it, those vids are a good companion for a cup of coffee... maybe there will be a miracle and sugar bytes will lower the price a bit before I press the buy button
Im looking to see what Cyclop can do as a total stand-alone first.
I'll maybe look more at Lemar some day. I have other plans.
Breathe..
This is where I'm very happy I upgraded to the Air 2....despite the teething troubles...
Ok guys, part 2 is up, part 3 almost. Should I post them here?, or are you gonna find it on yt? I don't want to pester the forum, it's 8 parts, after all... . Cheers, t
You probably talk about the midi gate! Unfortunately, I do not have midi keyboard to play it! So I can not answer how to use keyboard note to control the step sequencer!
yeah but it's only one thread either way I'll find you wherever you post... really appreciate this.
:-) No worries @Kaikoo, when I do some experiments, I'll post them, they may help others.
Cheers for your answers man!
:-)
You talking to me?
Not sure when I'm gonna purchase though. Someone may reveal before then!
Or maybe you talking to @animal?
I think maybe animal. Hehe
Cheers again for the vid/s! @animal
Edit: Ahh @animal, this is what happens when 2 or more are writing and posting at the same time! Just read your post about the next vid!
It's all good!
@king777: I think kobamoto was answering me. By the way, concerning processing, I have Noatikl and Cyclop running through Effectrix into Auria just now, on an iPad 4. No recording, though, just mixing.Let's see... Works with Crystalline on top...aaand Dedalus! Now it's starting to crackle, though (hehe). But Cyclop definetely eats up Battery like hell!
Great stuff! I personally don't mind if you post it here - be nice to know when the new one's are up.
Cyclop is for Hypospadias house music
Sick
Hey, kingman, there's no note-sequence-recording sadly, it just takes in whatever midi you send it, realtime.
Another reason it's probably best not being a Plug-in for Auria! Regarding the crackles.
(Imagine having multiple instances lol)
@animal, cheers for the confirmantion! AB and IAA it is then. Though it may be the case, but was hoping even for a 10 second note loop/sequence time!
This is still fine for me!
Cheers!
just finished the vids on your channel so far, hmm this is interesting to say the least... I liked the sounds in the first vid much more than the latter 2, my itchy trigger finger got a little less itchy but I'm still leaning forward so far.
I don't t have this synth, but as i understand it, I think the process is:
You press a single note and the "sequence" (FX / automation sequence in Cyclop) starts to play through (BPM synced as you wish to configure it). So it might have 2 beats where the filter rises, then have a tape stop for a beat then 2 beats where the filter falls.
You come off the note and the sequence stops
You press another note and the sequence starts again
Presumably if you play legato and slide from one note to another the sequence doesn't stop but continues?
And of course you can send Cyclop midi notes (which produces exactly the same as whatever you do on the internal keyboard)
Is that roughly right?
So you can't program notes, but you can make a patch that has a sequence of events to it (through recording automation / and or using the in built FX sequencer thingy).
Be good if anyone could confirm / correct the above... because it was something I was wondering too.
