I'm loving the iRig Pro, I've created a setup in Tonestack that turns my strat into a Telecaster circa Syd's Astonomie Domine voyage, so forthcoming tracks will be filled with chugging guitars and my feeble attempts at singing.
I haven't used a sequencer that much with Cyclop, when I haven't been generally exploring and twiddling with it's delights in a iVCS3 manner, I've just triggered it live. I did have a rather fantastic jam with it via Egosist though - replacing the built-in bass with Cyclop.
Yes. Of course. Sounds complicated to set-up, but what a good idea....
It is actually pretty straightforward, >midi settings>destinations(bass)...
I love egoist bass sequencer, I hated it at first glance, but now that I got used to it ...
Nah, what @pierre said - just launch Cyclop, and then set it as the bass via the Egoist settings page. Really straightforward, and you can also mix in some of the built in bass with Cyclop.
Thanks chaps. I'm told this roofdeck is now open at JFK and I'm planning to Cyclop the sunset from there, all being well.
Great minds think alike. "Where and how can I jam?" is the first question I ask about any trip I'm going on.
Pro-tip: SEA(tac) has a huge atrium with a real grand piano. put you minirig on top and BAM! instant accompaniement.
Pro-tip 2: HON(olulu) also has a nice enough garden.
Also, if you can afford the upgrade, "extra-legroom" seats are great because the tray tables slide in and out to adjust the distance between you and your Qunexus.
Don't forget the lysol wipes... wipe the tray table front and back, air vent, window, armrests, buckles, seatback pouch. You'll be amazed at how much dirt comes off the surface you'll be resting your wrists on.
@johnfromberkeley It was lovely out there actually. Empty as can be. BUT had told myself it was going to be all Cyclop but when the time came it was 50 pages of Broyard and then some scribbling. Doesn't really matter what you jam as long as you do I guess Got back to Austin at 3 am and considered playing something, but ended up dreaming of playing instead (just can't remember the words now....).
Personally, I am enjoying importing my own audio clips into Cyclop and building off them.
Possibilities are steep on this app. It just requires a level of fine tuning, both to play as well as to "hear" what is actually happening.
Appreciate those who have used the "ranking" suggestion. I found it very handy for getting acquainted with this app.
