    This exactly. I bought it and had things working reasonably well. When I left the app and came back, I realized that none of the MIDI connections were hooked up any more, which meant about an 18-step process of linking each one up to the proper MIDI channel, and then probably loading that specific app, making sure Background Audio was enabled, checking that it's routed to the proper MIDI channel....and...screw it. Didn't go back to the app for months.

    I still think that the overall best MIDI app on iPad is MultiTrackStudio. The best MIDI editor on iPhone, as of last month is Korg Gadget (though you'd need to send the MIDI files elsewhere to use virtual MIDI out live).

    The dev is alive :p , he changed the price recently and is on sale. There might be a chance for an update

    I love the simplicity of the app compared to modstep and the much better editing against Infinite Looper ,
    but can't recommend anyone to buy it unless there is an actual update/bugfix.

    Unfortunately there are many unscrupulous devs out there who's apps barely function, mostly buggy, etc. and STILL put them on-sale every now and then to milk a busted cow. Not saying that's the case here, but they're out there.

    Totally agree.
    I suspect there will be a massive cleanup .
