I broke down and purchased DD yesterday evening. I didn't have much time to spend with it but it looks like this could be an interesting app. I won't know how useful it is to me until I take the time to learn the basics and experiment with it. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow.

Judging from what I've seen and read, I suspect you have to be quite familiar and go quite deep with this app in order to get anything interesting and usable out of it, so I think Doug ought to take plenty of time getting right into it before dishing out the goods. Everyone step back a bit and give the man some room.
Agree with @PaulB. Fair play to @technemedia for sending the code. @thesoundtestroom will have to spend quality time delving into it to be fair to the developer. I hope it wows all of us.

OK so I have been playing with this for around 8 hours now, and there will be a video shortly. Within the next few hours I think..dont want to give too much away but I think you will be surprised.
Doug could you also include your verdict on the pricing..if its a fair price or how much you consider it's worth...so as to be fair to both seller and potential buyers.
I appreciate this puts you in the spot but if the tech is that good and different from anything else out there...
Of course..I will cover nearly everything..I will give my honest opinion, and hopefully the video will speak for itself too. I don't think it would be right just to big it up and give it a rave review just because he gave me the code..that would be unfair to him, me and more importantly anyone who is considering buying this app.

@soundtestroom - 8 hrs? I imagine there has to be some cool aspects to the app then? Ive bought some apps and within maybe 20 min regretted the purchase and just forgot about it. But other apps, within maybe 5 - 10 min, knew I had fallen in love and use all the time. On one hand i dont want it to be good as I dont want to fork out $35 but if its really ground-breaking, I wont be able to help it. So im hopeful it will be just okay.
