  • @Ian It is £34.99, to be exact.

  • It uploading now..so its gonna take around 2 hours cos it's about 17 minutes

  • Realistic sounding? For rock/metal....or more for electronic style? Import your own samples?

  • edited April 2013

This is a very different kind of app..no pun intended...yes you can import your own samples..its hard to explain.. I go into a lot of detail in the video so people can make up their own minds wether or not it would be good for them....you could use it for rock, it would certainly give it an unusual slant..

I've been up the whole night but am gonna wait for this video before crashing out

  • I can see the headlines now... YouTube servers overwhelmed in DOS attack!...

  • I wonder if this is how Spielberg feels..LOL...seriously its only like my other vids were I ramble on and on making little sense to myself..

  • is it true that it has only midi out options? For this price and audiobus i would have expected a more complete midi integration.Currently It's quite useless at least for me.Although i'm looking forward to the video as well.Would love to see what kind of magic it offers and if it cooks my capucino as well.

  • honestly did not have time to check the midi options.....but it did make me my coffee..

  • Seb,hope your server is ready for the abuse it's about to get.

  • Erm,....not verbal!

  • Although,having said that.
    If it does go down,
One could be forgiven for the odd expletive flying around.

  • I will say that when you watch the video try and see it from a ....will it be a good addition to your apps......cos it is pricey still...too pricey in my opinion, which I do say..the problem is there is nothing else to compare it too, it really is different.

  • The only thing that would stop this being the hottest thread right now would be an Audiobussable release of Alchemy!

  • Oh man..I cant wait for Alchemy..

  • Everybody got their
Popcorn and nachoes at the ready

  • 91%...T Minus 15 minutes and counting

  • You need a faster connection!

  • It has no MIDI input as far as I can see or hear. Output can be audio, MIDI, or both. It can also send MIDI sync at 24 times per quarter note along with MIDI start/stop.

  • You tube has queued it for processing..

Thank you thesoundtestroom...no matter how you reviewed the app...for your time and effort...totally appreciated. Also, as far as MIDI in, we'll try to add add that in an upcoming version (at least Sync and Start/Stop) but it's more of a "music generator" than a sound generator.

  • OK here it is....

  • Great job thesoundtestroom! One thing to save you hitting the switch...you can swipe your finger on the wave selectors to toggle them also. Also you can just tap the switch. Thanks again.

  • @thesoundtestroom: thanks for the video, very informative!

  • Ah yeah...there are lots if different things you can do that I dont go into here..

  • Great demo. Thank you for taking the time to show that to us.

  • @thesoundtestroom & @technemedia - thanks for providing the promo code and the video guys. I definitely have a clearer understanding of the capabilities and sounds this is capable of.

  • Here's an example of a strange 100% DD improv composition—MIDI out to a Yamaha Motif and then improv some vocals and synth on top.

  • Thanks for the clear presentation. It's not really my sort of thing, but I can see some people using and liking this if the price dropped to $10 or less. I don't know if its the settings you used, but although there were random elements in there, most of the rhythms sounded very repetitive. Is there a way to (for example) have a variation or fill every fourth bar (or whatever)?

  • Hi Phil..yeah you can set the variation from anything from one bar upwards..that was something else I forgot...
