Okay, do you have a screenshot you can post here? I won't believe it otherwise.
Exported a single-track midi file through Dropbox to Audioshare. Smooth sailing...
Now let me look deeper into this expansion dealio.
Yes. Should be able to load up any ideas made in Gadget in MTS I'm hoping. I prefer MTS for serious midi composing.
I would post the screenshot but I have no idea how to do that on here. But it is what it is, you do need some help it seems with this, I just don't know why yours is lacking the IAP cards in Darwin? Anyone have any idea? Hopefully someone from Korg shows up here to help you tonight or tomorrow.
Far left / Far right
Son of a b-----. Why doesn't it work here for me? I updated Gadget first. Then I purchased iM1 and then the expansion packs. Then I opened Gadget, and they asked to install Darwin which I did. So what did I do wrong? I rebooted my iPad twice by the way. I use iOS 8, iPad Air 2 128gb.
Maybe you should try a reboot and/or a reinstall of iM1.
FWIW i did the opposite here: iM1 + expansions then Gadget.
It will be fine soon.
I just purchased one of the packs. Went over to Gadget (which was open) nothing added. Closed gadget, re-opened and they were there.
There must be something u haven't done yet. Let's see...
I installed gadget second also. You might have to actually uninstall darwin and Im1 and install in that order or perhaps just delete and restore Darwin will do it.
How do I delete Darwin within Gadget? (Or are you talking about removing it from the project?) I even restored purchases, and I cannot reinstall Gadget given the fact that I have previous projects on there.
My suggestion is to uninstall iM1. Restart/reboot iPad. Then reinstall iM1. Then restore IAP's.
PS: Do NOT uninstall Gadget!
Just did, and it didn't work. Just my goddamned luck, lol.
So am I to understand that the only way to get iM1 on os7 so far is by buying Gadget?
When you say just did, u
You didn't uninstall G did you?
iM1 is iOS 8+. If you bought gadget you still would not be able to install iM1. But I believe you will still get Darwin.
Darwin comes with one sound programs. (That's sort of how they have worded it)
The Gadget update description-wording is terrible!
No I didn't mate. You said not to, so I did as instructed.
Phew!
Tell me now what you have in place.
In Darwin? Same thing. I don't have any expansions at all showing up at all. This is frustrating as hell!
Have you tried creating a new song in G, with a fresh Darwin (D)?
That also was a good suggestion, and nothing doing. I seriously have no clue what I did wrong.
They will definately be busy but going to the Korg gadget forum or wherever might get you an answer, I will look for a link.
(Sarcasm.) Man, you just don't know when to quit trolling by helping redirect people to helpful websites, do you? Do you?
Seriously, I'm looking forward to the link mate.
Nice^ @Tritonman ...
I just bought the other IAP and again no issue!
@jwmmakerofmusic What's the title of the last card you can see?
"Library 2", and it doesn't even scroll anywhere.
Sorry for my ignorance but is Darwin a cut-down version of iM1? I've yet to use Gadget so I'm not sure how it works. Thanks for your help!
https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us, good luck it looks a lot of questions might be answered over there. The trolling sarcasm was indeed funny. I am not sure but I don't think he ever did figure that out.
Yeah it's a cut down version, also programmability wise it does not have the features. But you can program in iM1 and save your presets and use them in Darwin. That's the logical theory anyway!
It seems Darwin is not communicating with iM1.. A dialogue has not yet been established.
Trying to figure it from here is mental. Let me see.
Let us know if the link gives any clues.
Added: @jwmmakerofmusic, your able to access (all) the cards within iM1 and play sounds from each of them?
Absolutely. iM1 is flawless. I posted something in the Korg Gadget community about Darwin.
In Gadget, restore all purchases. All seems to work for me.
...This thing is a monster-!
