This might seem stupid but how are you guys getting refunds on apps? I actually don't know how to do it..
I found a guide that said I have to log into my apple account on the web and report a problem with the app to request a refund? Is this how it's done?
I've only ever requested one refund and that was impc pro when it launched, it was buggy as hell, and apple denied my refund anyway...
Curious on if there's some easier way should I ever need it, thanks
Ok on further reading this no questions ask returns policy does not apply to australia. Yay..
EU only
I also joined the"no return of rotten fruits"club now.Ridiculous.I'm wondering why there is not much more noise in the web about it.I would consider us"music appoholics"to be part of apples better customers (because of the higher pricetag of most music apps),so if they f*ck us there must be millions of other customers treated the same way now.People in the net tend to create shitstorms for much less these days, where are they now?Why is all quiet on the western front?
I think I heard it happened much earlier for most people -- they lost their rights pretty much directly after the right to return apps was given. Maybe because we musicians tend to spend more money, it lasted a bit longer for us.
By the way, an Apple representative told me that this loss of rights is a temporary measure. I doubt this -- but he insisted if it isn't restored after a few weeks I should contact Apple about it.
You're having more luck than me then, they're completely ignoring my attempts at contacting them.
Sounds like company-speak for "Too many people complained, so we're getting rid of it."
