Do we get multichannel outs? to hardware, also foldback to AudioBus inputs? MiMix has the latter but not the former.
@j_liljedahl is there any way to include a memory/cpu indicator for us to see how hard our machine is working.
Seems like they're in the pipeline but since Michael is going to implement this in loopy masterpiece it might eventually make its way to Audiobus. This is at least what I remember being discussed at some point. No idea about the timescale though.
Multi-channel outs...Yayers!!!
I have hardware outs in MiMix if I need them. It's the foldback of an Aux or Sub into AB Input slot that is more interesting to me. AFAIK I can only do that with Auria, which is a rather large sledge-hammer for that particular nut.
You rock Jonathan! Universal too?! Oh man... I want this now
As was said earlier in this thread, it's no more competition than any standard DAW app that has a mixer and supports IAA. You should look at my new app as a lightweight live-DAW with mixing and recording, but without the editing stuff.
Last time I checked, MiMiX did have multichannel out support?
Yes, my app will have multichannel hardware support, both ins and outs. As well as multiple Audiobus ins/outs.
Yes, that's planned.
Agh: backwards , MMix has hardware output support but not fold-back except for Main out.
@j_liljedahl thank you oh so very much
I can't use MiMix because the added latency...A better solution to have the I/O built in to the host matrix rather than an additional processing app...I'am very latency sensitive..and the labeling is aways screwy...cool app as a band aid..
An overall view?
how much RAM/CPU the used Apps eating would be.......very efficient.
@obiwahnkentobi
I'm not sure it's possible to see how much RAM other apps are using. But for IAA nodes, it should be possible to check how big slice of available render cycle time the app is using. Will think about that!
Looking forward to the new screenshots
Here's a little preview-review of AUM, my coming mixer/host/recorder app: http://blog.dubspot.com/ios-music-app-review-aum/
Can't wait for this Does that mean that your appropriately titled AUFX apps are to become audio units after this app is ready?
Yes, I'm planning on making all AUFX apps AUv3, as soon as I'm finished with this app, and some other projects, and adding Ableton Link to SECTOR, and iBridge to AudioShare, and...
Glad it's in the queue! Looking forward to Sector Link too...
Got a gift card waiting for this one to drop. Any ETA?
A couple of months, maybe less maybe more
I am so looking forward to this one.
I think this may very well be my app of the year. Although it's a little early to proclaim :-). And Loopy masterpiece and Drumperfect Pro are on the horizon as well... And also AB might get some more functionality added. But I think this will definitely be a game changer! Universal app is a great prospect too :-).
SECTOR for iPhone!
Wait, you mean I can't just speak apps into development?
I dont know, have you ever got finished masturbating to find a stranger in your presence?
Waitwut
If you use software regularly you'll probably know when the crackle time is about to start anyway.
Months ?
when is this app going to be released? it looks like exactly what I need.
.
@j_liljedahl !!!
The UI gets better and better. Just wow. The menu icons are tasty. The input and output level meters. Yum. The way the menu hamburger icon turns sideways and changes color when it's open... totally gonna steal that!
Can I ask questions?
Thanks, I will.
What is that M/S decoder in the last screenshot? Looks like it is internal to the app based on the styling and the stereo spread control to the left.
How is it that all of those screenshots have multiple instances of Push? All routed to the same instance discreetly from different channels or is that a test app for AUv3?
Do the little R icons at the footer if each strip mean record? If so, does it mean "include in the record bus" or "record this channel discreetly"?
Why is channel 3 the only one with a plus sign? Does that follow channel selection or something?
