    I'm a DJ. I'm known for remixing other peoples music. If you remember back, we had an offline conversation ref my remix of Roxy Music's '2HB' (it was the 4th remix project that Bryan Ferry asked me to do).

    There's a lot of original tracks too amongst the 220 I have publicly available on Soundcloud right now (there are over a hundred private tracks too, I rotate them as I don't want my page to feel like a radio station that always plays the same tracks). But remixes and reworks make up the bulk of my output.

    Repost the Acid Soul mixes! There's a few from before you did any remixes too. And what was the Notting Hill Carnival tune you did that was only available during carnival? I actually saved a copy of it. That was so sick.

    Blimey, you've got a better memory than me on that. What with the afters party I used to host with the Sancho Panza crew, those Notting Hill Carnival years are all something of a blur. 🌿🌿🌿

    But I'm going to take a wild guess on this one (I did a few Notting Hill giveaways over the years):

    As for the Acid Soul mixes, I intend to revive them next year (well the occasional few for sure). But Acid Soul 9 is one that sticks in my memory.

    Normally in Australia the price is about 50% more.

    So, a US$10 app becmes around AU$15.

    More than double seems weird.

    Digistix 2 has some really nice touches and it's definitely worth having in your arsenal. I wouldn't say it's the best percussion app on iOS (in all honesty they all have significant negatives as well as positives) but it's definitely worth the asking price.

    If you're considering Digistix at all but want to save some cash, wait for Digistix 2 to come on sale but considering Digistix 2 is only a few dollars more ($10.99) you might as well purchase it now.

    DS 2 is the newer version. I have both, recently purchased 2 on Black Friday after using DS1 a lot since it was released. I do have to say I like DS2 better. The layout, the controller section, several other new features. I’d wait for a DS2 sale, or spend the extra bills. I think he plans on keeping 1 around awhile but I have to believe DS2 would be a safer bet for longevity and future updates etc…

    I’d definitely recommend some YouTube videos to compare. There is a lot of overlap, but to me 2 is better.

    @onastarchase DigiStix 2 is iPad only. The original DigiStix is universal, but hasn't been updated since DigiStix 2 was released 6 months ago.

    Agreed. 4Pockets has lots of bundles too so check to see if any catch your eye.

    No, there would still be an over amount but more than a couple of $.

    I come here for the sales, but hang around for the discussions.

    I think the discussions have prevented me from buying a few things, and talked me into buying some others. This whole forum feels like a bunch of good people looking after each other, so there's inevitably gonna be a few disagreements along the way. By and large though it's hard to find another forum that where people are so focused on helping each other out.

    Couldn't ask for better than that!
