Yup, Michael's right there; all the updates so far have been free. 1.1 will include some major updates which are free, and some which are going to be covered by the upgrade, if it's been more than 12 months since original purchase. I'm hoping to get 1.1 out within a month or two.
I can confirm 1.1 is an absolute banger 👍
Midi loops\Clips.. with Key/Scale transpose (Global) would be…. Revolutionary..
So, still no success in controlling Filter cutoff via Rozeta LFO, both are hosted in LP. I've mapped virtual MIDI out to filter cutoff as CC13 ch1, same as Rozeta LFO 1 is sending (I've also pressed play on LP transport and Rozeta LFO animating).
here's screenshots of I've how set it up:

Just tried this and I can’t get it work either. I added Rozeta LFO as midi and also a Miditools Bus (in case that would help). But on the “midi learn” none are listed as devices…

Thanks for confirming! I guess Virtual MIDI does support CC, not just note data.
[EDIT] - I 've managed to map Rozeta LFO CC ---> TAL-U-NO-LX inside of LP. Guess it's a limitation on the the LP stock filters?!?
There are two different ways of using MIDI in a host like LP. One is the "normal" way where you route MIDI from one app into another. The receiving app, like a synth, expects MIDI and responds. The other way is what AUM calls "MIDI Control", and Audiobus calls "MIDI Learn". This allows you to use MIDI messages from outside the host to control AUv3 parameters via MIDI mapping. Those other hosts allow you to route internally-generated MIDI to MIDI control, but Loopy Pro does not.
So, you need to load another app (from the Home Screen, not in LP) that can echo its MIDI input, route the generated MIDI to the external app, and use the incoming messages to control AUv3. StreamByter is one such app. Load it, route the MIDI to the StreamByter input port, and receive it back from the StreamByter output port.
Note that LP's Virtual MIDI in and out ports are not involved in this. And MIDI ports are unidirectional (one way), so LP's Virtual MIDI out port is not connected to its Virtual MIDI in port, though they have the same name. (The AUM dev recently caused AUM's virtual ports to appear as "AUM Source" and "AUM Receiver" in the host's routing matrix, trying to reduce this confusion.)
How are you bouncing the MIDI back into Loopy Pro? The article I linked to explains that you need to bounce the MIDI sent out of Loopy back into it by using something like Streambyter as a standalone app or miRack or MiDi Tools’ MIDI Route.
Tahiche if you use midi Route, did you set it to send the midi to virtual midi in? Midi route routes between ports it doesn’t have a port of its own
Hey @Michael . Can I just confirm that if I buy LP now (…ish), that I'll qualify for that 1.1 upgrade, and any other paid upgrades for the following 12 months? Thanks 🙏
Confirmed!
That’s great! Many thanks 😊
Question... Projects created in LP standalone are missing when you open LP in AUM (as a tool). I don't understand why this is happening. And where are the projects created in LP saved when it is open in AUM?
Due to the way AUs work, they cant use he parent apps hind folder but use a folder the OS doesn’t expose. In the project browser, is a special folder where the AUs projects are. More here:

I think it is also mentioned in the manual.
Thank you very much. Understood.
Just one question, it’s possible,to add fx inside the feedback loop when using overdub?? I want to simulate different kind of disintegration and degradation with each pass…
Just looking at the 'roadmap'. MacOS native is in progress, looking forward to that!
My understanding is that some of 1.1’s new features will be part of the base and won’t require a new update IAP and some new features will be part of an update IAP.
The core features and bug fixes to them aren’t subject to any cycles.
There hasn’t been an IAP yet to update. Everything added so far is a permanent addition to the core feature set.
What isn’t clear about the features you are buying?
As I understand it, WHEN a paid feature is released, you will get it IF you bought the IAP within the last 365 days. If it has been more than 365 days since you bought the IAP, you will need to pay again, which will entitle you to all paid features released in the next 365 days.
I unlocked LP on day one and will need to pay again if I want the new features, but someone that just picked it up last month should get them for no additional cost. I think.
Beyond that, it’s up to the dev which features are paid and which are included with the base unlock.
Definitely worth noting that I don’t have any special insight into anything — I just follow the Facebook group and pop into the Discord now and again!
I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure this is the situation.
I hope that's accurate.
Yep, you guys have it right!
What about leap years? We get the extra day?
If you’re very, very good
Need app to work as a recording place in AUM but its got a mathematical statistic crash of about 50%.
When loading and when you press play in AUM.
Havent gone through settings. Just made it 512 bars and copied to every aum template using AUM copy and move but its not that as it crashes with the original.
Host is 1024 samples. I remember loopy being 512 on an ipad and 1024 on another.
Crashes with play though. Obviously not usable just as a recorder.
Is there a way to send data, to find issue?
Ouch! Thanks for getting in touch. Yeah, a crash log would be very helpful: https://loopypro.com/manual/#reporting-crashes. If it's pretty reproducible, I'd also love a step-by-step guide to making it happen here, too, if you don't mind. Feel free to email me rather than using this thread, I'm [email protected]
Emailing you - let's not continue on this thread
I just noticed that the user presets I have saved in AUM offer a different list depending on whether Loopy Pro is loaded in the instrument slot or the effect slot (I was wanting one in each slot in the same lane). Is this the normal behaviour?
I noticed that if you save it as an LP project, then save it to AUM it will then open from the AUM instrument. Still seems a little strange?
