I doubt it, sadly. They formed a new company about 3 or 4 years ago with the Amazing Noises developer, called Aqusmatiq Audio. They've been releasing new stuff on desktop since, but nothing new on iOS. Their iOS apps have only had maintenance updates I think. I think it's likely they'll continue to maintain stuff, I hope so anyway, but I definitely wouldn't hold your breath for anything new.
@Gavinski brother, I picked up all of the apesoft granulars because of your coverage. good stuff man. I can't understand why I slept on this for half a decade.
It’s been a trip watching these older vids of apesoft stuff and hearing such younger voices from people like Gav and Doug 😉

I don’t have mirack and MooMu is the first modular synth I’ve used. I’ve got a few other modular synth apps but I’ve always gotten a bit overwhelmed by them. MooMu has great tutorials that explain how Modular synthesis works while teaching the app. The color scheme and old school design is charming. It has modules for pads and a GeoShred style control surface. It’s easy to drag cables from one module to another. The dev seems to be on top of updates and adding new features.
I also love the adorable app icon.
Sounds cozy, cheers!
Cozy is a very fitting descriptor.
Mr Goodyear, when did you take up lying?
Hey!
Thanks for this one. I suspected it might go free at some point and had my eye on it. But you got in first. Muchas gracias.

I finally caved for the iMS20. The sequencer is loads of fun - you basically have 7 instances running - but is it correct, that there are absolutely no way to tempo sync it with other apps, or am I missing something?
I mean, I am used to IAA-apps, also in AUM, but without any kind of sync for the sequencer at all, the app is only usable on it's own, which limits the use severely.
Not least because the tempo in this thing seems to be quite wonky on it's own, so not even recording a loop to a wav, and then using this in AUM works.
(I have already searched the forum, and no solutions seems available, but just wanted to double check with you knowing people before considering a refund...)
I haven't used this much since I got it, long ago but had to try now and damn, it is cool! Under the global tab (upper right) you'll find Bounce for song or pattern: I just tried both, saved to AudioShare, and it works fine.
Ah, thanks a lot!
I'll try that. (Have just been recording in AudioShare, which didn't give good loops.) And yes, the set-up and sequencer can produce some really cool mayhem, so I'd really like to be able to use the app in relation to other stuff some way.
EDIT: It works!
Now to make some loops!
How often (if at all) does UA put their line of apps on sale? I want to buy Battalion but can't right now. I'm still on the beta but you never know, that can end on a whim. Edit: Never mind I see now that current sale is on to the 20th July. Just in time to get new appanage.
How are you liking it? Can't decide if I want ape matrix or not- but did find some good ivcs3 patches. Link in description.
I think I’ve asked this before but with the ApeSoft sale I gotta ask again… what’s the difference between iDensity and IPulsaret ?
iDensity can have a lot of wavs being granulated at the same time and is more focused on automation and making soundscapes. iPulsaret only have one wav at a time, but can also generate waveforms by its own for granulation and is focused on being able to play your waves like an instrument. Both are really great and different enough to have both!
I haven’t gotten it. I’m hesitant with purchasing anything ApeSoft since I feel I got burned on ApeMatrix (no multi-out despite being advertised and unstable auv3 hosting) and ApeMatrix feeling a bit obtuse usage wise.
