Fellow Fugue Machine Rubato early buyer here! I’m glad I got it when I did - with the bundle and early price discount I think I got it for around $40 or so. That’s one of my favorite apps and one I’d actually recommend.
I second Lumbeat being go-to apps for making grooves on acoustic drums. I’ve got all of them and all but a few IAP drumkits (I’m missing a few for funk drummer).
Are you still able to send grooves between Pop Drummer and other Lumbeat apps in Auv3? I don’t think it’s possible with iBassist so I imagine not.
Can u export midi atm? I couldn't find the export option.
The standalone instance still shows the “up arrow” export button with options for MIDI and Audio output formats and Full Mix or Multi-part options.
The AU instance doesn’t show the export options but it’s possible to output MIDI and capture it in a MIDI recorder like “Atom | Piano Roll 2” which has an export MIDI feature.
the sub model is not what bothers me. I've bought a majority of the apps and never use them. I have not seen any proper tutorials that properly show how to integrate the apps with each other and how to use with external sequencers. They literally are sitting on my iPad collecting virtual dust.
If there is a proper tutorial out there, please share.
about $23 for one time purchase - not bad, but I'm sure that if I would want to have all drummers and all kits in the app I will pay much more

Pop Drummer Full Access $22.99
Trying the AUv3 in Cubasis on an M1 iPad Pro. Unfortunately the app crashes when I adjust the Jam slider or the swing slider during playback.
I was just loading different kicks and it shut down. Not the licensed version.
Probably this issue would fix deleting and installing from scratch. Already preparing a fix
Thank you! 🙏
Thanks, have let it run for a couple of hundred bars and seems to have resolved it.
I checked this in Loopy Pro and Jam slider and Swing slider works fine, no crashes. (PD 1.0.1 Full Unlock)
EDIT: I checked both sliders also in ApeMatrix: Swing slider is OK but not adjusting of Jam slider - crashed there.
Purchased… $22.99 seems like a bargain for an app of this caliber.
Adding iBassist in Aum and just jamming away for a bit, so much fun when it sounds so good (i.e from the drums and bass). Punchlab on the drums isn't to shabby of a choice either.
I tried TB Enhancer on "Backbeat" and "Recording Drive" drumset and whoa! So punchy!
after a reset of my device crashes in cubasis are gone.
what about making it fullscreen as auv3?
>
This is not up to the plug-in developer to add but the host that hosts the plug-in.
AUM added full-screen AUv3 view some time ago.
Some hosts have an option to show a plug-in in a window that can be freely resized (AUM, Drambo, LoopyPro and ApeMatrix to name a few).
So in order for the plug-in to be able to go fullscreen the host needs to add support for it.
In the case of Cubasis it's up to @LFS and his team if they decide toto add full-screen / windowed support for AUv3s.
What am I missing? Ibassist doesn’t seem to be able to make drums in this one.
Multi-out in a Lumbeat drummer would be nice. Maybe this could be something he can add down the road as an IAP?
Honestly, in a “synth drum” setting, I could see myself using multi-out features for things in certain genres of music, but for more down to earth “radio genres” (rock, funk. Jazz, pop, etc), I’d probably not mess with the tuned kits we have.
EZDrummer? I don’t know about “light years away” this sounds just as good to my ears.
@LuisMartinez
Thank you so much for making the full version of your new and amazing Pop Drummer available with a one-time purchase!
And thank you again, for listening, and for taking all of the feedback and constructive criticism so gracefully.
Please consider adding a tip jar in all of the Lumbeat drummers, so we have a way of giving you more money!
Great news! Heading out for an iTunes card today to purchase pop drummer. Thanks!
sounds good to my ears too.
but still not desktop level.
would be crazy when a 600mb drumkit can
be realistic as a 7gb kit.
Purchased. Do you know if you can change the view when using the Mac desktop version? I’m using this on an iPad and Mac mini, There isn’t a way to change the size of the window when using it in Ableton Live? Patterning 3 has the same issue which is worse as there’s so much info within the UI. It would be great if you could drag the window to whatever size you need or have predefined window sizes. Is this doable?
There’s also an issue with restoring purchases from the iPad version and the desktop version. I’m getting an error restoring purchases on the Mac even though I can see I’ve purchased it on my Apple App Store account.
Apologies, I now have the in app purchase on the iPad and Mac!
+1 Bought immediately after seeing it was now a one-time purchase.. So happy to have an AUv3 Lumbeat drummer.. Thank you Luis for all the great drummer apps.. have them all + use them all on a regular basis.. Pop drummer is a fantastic addition to an already amazing drummer family..
Same here, but I’m running the ‘demo’ version.. (IAA) Maybe it’s a full version thing..
IBassist packs will pay for too..
$30 in my appstore… Above my budget, skip
