Ahh so much fun… whipped up a new patch and got to tweaking the perform page. Attached if anyone’s keen.
I LOVE the perform page … such an immediate live performance tool. Your demo shows off its capabilities perfectly
Nice dubs mengh! 🤙
This isn't a good start to a post.
I change presets/patterns by saving as user presets in aum, then using pattern bud to control them with program change messages, which works fine for me. Tested via Channel 11 and have the same problem though - it will randomise individual tracks etc, but once you try and skip or select a random preset, the whole thing crashes.
Still waiting for an reply 😕
Thank you

The channel 11 crashes are officially fixed for this week's beta.
You missed out the most important part of their response.
“But hang tight- we're working on all of it as we can”.

Nice dub!
Ty!
😀
Huzzah!
Sorry not my intention.
Great to know thanks!
+1 for Batallion and Unfiltered Audio. I've had a great experience with the app. I really like the sounds and the low end and depth, which is often missing in a lot of iOS apps, but these come across as hefty and tight. My votes for the feature roadmap include MIDI Export, MIDI out and pattern export.
+100 for Batallion.
looking fwd for this update - especially the new sampler machines.
fabulous and deep contraption for performing and improv.
we (makunouchi bento) big and longtime fans of Unfiltered Audio.
ps.
I'm puzzled that ppls want their 808, 909, save midi etc in Battalion.
Battalion its a noise beast of its own. Its a very modern and intricate noise laboratory,
I can't consider it a "drum machine" really...
Just had a quick look at the manual but couldn't find anything - can anyone confirm that there's no midi learn in Battalion? And if not, has it been mentioned as a possible update in the future? Love the idea of getting my midi fighter twister controlling some of these wild parameters...
I really miss Battalion on iPhone.
I'm not offended by your interactions- I have extremely opinionated, strong views on software and understand that one small bug or issue can make or break a quality tool. It's infuriating for anyone that can see the full potential so I know that's where you were coming from. These tools are instruments and we're making art so it's great when people are passionate about the craft!
You might have gotten the impression that we were ignoring you out of laziness or indifference but now you know it's not the case. It's cool you listened to a bit of pushback from the others- that's rare these days and I commend you for it. Thanks for being here.
❤️
These interactions are so refreshing after having just been on X* which tends to make Reddit look like a Care Bears picnic!!
*Although Grok does sometimes seem like Musk's mini me opinion/politics wise, it can be very detailed about practical IOS music app questions, can it do etc.. or step by step guides for things like routing hardware/software...which some may find helpful.
Just working my way through this one, picking up a few tips, thanks @jakoB_haQ
What I really like about this app is the depth of potential options for sound design, and even though there’s an initially large learning curve, you can make some crazy noises straight away via the randomiser.
Bought on release, I’m only now properly creating my own presets, but there’s still more stuff to discover and dig in to.
Brilliant app!
I'm curious to use this not as a drum machine but as a general noise and drone machine...any experiences?
