Sugar Bytes Looperator vs Audiomodern Loopmix? Are they similar? What are their relative strengths and weaknesses?
Likewise, Turnado vs Transit 2?
I was hoping it would not go on sale, certainly not at a price that is right on the margin of too much… argh.
Would it be easier to list the apps that aren't on sale
I really like Rubato. It’s deep and a bit of a challenge to wrap your head around. I’ve been using it on and off since day one and still don’t feel like I’ve got a grasp of the more advanced features. That’s not necessarily a bad thing since I keep finding new ways to use it.
Is the upgrade from regular Fugue Machine worth it?
@FizzyLizzy27 i spent a good bit of time with the demo. It is a beast, no question. I sequence with Drambo which is super powerful itself, but Rubato does stuff Drambo can’t do. I’m not sure any other sequencer has its capabilities. So I’m tempted. But the question is also whether I really need what it does!!
Can Fugue Machine Rubato record midi from a Controller?
It's an IAP to update to full unlocked version.
The one sale I was hoping/waiting for!
IIRC no. Because it doesn’t have a piano roll or traditional sequencer. Notes are relative values.

Looperator can really mess with your audio, in a good way, and it’s immediate without needing to drag in samples, since it works as an effect. Loopmix needs carefully made samples and is more of an instrument. I’d say Egoist has it beat in the single sample creative department, but Loopmix can mix several samples at the same time.
And actually kind of affordable now.
Thanks @Darkstring, appreciate it. Cheers.

Not sure exactly where the button to purchase the IAP is... probably in the settings menu or somewhere like that.

Looks to have progressive tempo training. Nice.
I want Drum Computer but I just got Patterning 3.
I haven't been able to get a solid bead on whether buying the full version of Drum Computer is worth it. I did pick up Patterning 3 and Kaola to play in this space as well. Drum Computer seems by all accounts a fantastic use case here, but I'm not sure if the free version will prove too limiting.
Yeah it's essentially a demo right?
