I just did what @Krupa said
and it worked for me on iPhone!

"Best way is to go to your account, tap on apps and search there. You should see the app listed and a simple download icon rather than go through the prayidontpay shuffle"

The app is not listed there. Only in purchase history

  • Oh now it is there. Thanks!

  • Do you gain much from beta vs purchasing.

    Bank saving.

Multiout audio routing saved ( in app settings ) for existing factory patches

    etc ?

    Thanks.

  • @trickyflemming
big thnx for this fab update!
new sampling machines are so much fun.

  • @trickyflemming
This is the best thing ever to have on my iPad. So good, I also bought this for my Mac

Hey everyone, the iPhone version should be included with the iPad purchase. Let me check out what's going on. I've seen instances where it takes a day or so for the new platform to roll out to existing purchasers. Please know that we do not want to charge you twice for the iOS version.

This is something that the App Store has done forever when an app goes live on an additional platform. Apple doesn't check if you own the app until all the way after you've agreed to pay for it. There's nothing that you can do about it from your end, and Apple hasn't been interested in correcting it any time since they introduced universal apps.

It just takes a leap of faith.

In all the years of repeatedly explaining this and seeing it explained by others, I've never heard of anyone being actually charged when they already own an app.

Yep - Just have to go and try buying it again (as long as you're still logged into the same account). It won't charge you.

This app is fantastic - I just love the sounds that it can make right out of the box. Best drum synth, in my opinion.

Can you make folder banks to save in or is user bank just a list of saves ?

I feel I need to save all factory presets to user ( because going through presets resets the multiouts )

Id then wish to create banks anyway to have different patterns saved to record to audio.

  • Seems you can via files app.

    Seemingly good.

Im seeing a mixed bag of currencies flow your way sir.

  • Love all their apps
    Silo is really good
    And bassmint

Really liking the most recent update. It’s a lot better on iPhone now…

    Great addition, imo

@Meek3 have you tried needlepoint? I never thought I would want an app like that, but after playing with it- it's pretty rad. I also like Bassmint. My go to bass app is @cem_olcay autobass and bassmint, Fettkraft, and Spatializer all sound fantastic on the bass chain.

    I have them all 😊
    Needlepoint is also great

  • Still feels far too small, if the UI was divided into three panels/pages and oriented portrait it would make far more sense on the iPhone…

  • Yeah, I would like additional panels as well.

  • @egobeats
Needlepoint is great as a vinyl simulator BUT
the best part in it - and seems that not many know or talk about it
    are the fabulous compressor(s) section!

I usually turn off the rest of the app and just use that lil corner of it. So good on drums and guitar. “Secret sauce”, if you will

Yep! I did also mention this great compression sound I think in my video which covers all the unfiltered audio apps!

    Re: Comp

I was just about to get Medusa before the sale ends tomorrow (03/20)is the needlepoint comp a valid alternative to Medusa?

Different beasts imo. NP is nowhere near what Medusa offers for dialing in actual compression, it’s more of a “toneshaper” if that makes any sense. It’s basically just one dial for mixing in the sounds of a bunch of compression styles.

  • Hmm, you know my beats you think I would benefit from Medusa?

I’m no compression expert (haha I hear that phrase a lot on here, so glad I’m among friends) but ya, I think you’d like and use it a lot. As a newbie to that stuff, it’s pretty easy to use and I’ve found it sounds great with the type of sounds you create with. If you don’t own a “main compressor app” I’d say medusa is a great start and I’m pretty damn happy I scooped it

I will occasionally use Bark Filter with the following:

    Ratio 3.5
    Attack 20ms
    Release 100ms
    Threshold - 4db

I got those metrics from Gemeni, asked it for some punchy deep drums. Pretty plain Jane I believe.

  • In regards to Batallion, I think it's so awesome to be able to use it on the iPhone. It has the most current beats/genres and unique sounds and aggressive modulation.

It means a lot to us iPhone users to get a packed drum machine like that.

    IMO.

    What he said!

  • Does punchlab make Medusa redundant?

  • @egobeats said:

No, definitely not, Punchlab is a jack of all trades type plugin, it's not a replacement for Medusa, just as its not a replacement for Fizzica.

  • Thx Gav!

  • Ugh… I just love this drum machine.
