This.
I would heartily and loudly agree with this if I wasn't so busy weeping at all the money already spent...
Makes me nervous when the sales come up too. Looking at the list though, most of the one's I already have I bought on release and were on a special intro price, so not as painful as it could be. If I don't look at the Moog.
Moog 15 was last year even cheaper in sale $9.99
I don't think Model 15 has ever been on sale until now has it?
I've got mixed feelings about sales. Although, I'm taking advantage of them now... I have to admit I have respect for developers who never have sales. They set a fair price and stick with it. For the more pricey apps, if you look at their history and see they've been on sale a few times, it makes it hard to buy at full price. If I see an app has never been on sale, I tend to feel better about paying the full price the dev asks.
Moog 15 didn't exist last year.
@skiphunt
You're right I mixed up Animoog (iPad) That was 9.99 last year

After you guys putting it over & watching some YouTube vids on the app & modular synths I jumped and got Model 15. It is unreal. Using my favorite studio headphones, Sony MDR-7506, I could hear the additional harmonic complexities going on & a warmth and sweetness that none of the analog style synth apps I have possess. I still love iMini, and the other analog synth apps. But this is huge, it just sounds like it should, very ANALOG, I'm really glad I got it, especially at the very steal of a price of $15, considering all you get.
Fugue Machine is incredible. I wouldn't be surprised if most of us already have it, buy if you don't it's well worth it.
Sorry, but it's not the first time.
Very tempting...
I bought zmors modular too! Why not?
Only 10 mins before bedtime, but not disappointed so far.
Are the Model 15 IAP's on sale also, or is that their regular price?
Been watching many youtube videos and reading reviews on Moogs' Model 15 and I can feel this powerful force compeling me to get it ..... but should I? I have so many synths
What a wonderful dilemma to have almost every week
They are regular price.
Or have already decided against buying them and won't be swayed by a cheap price. I did join the "Kingdom of the Sun___" for $2.99, though.
Thanks I had been waiting for this to be on sale. Pro sounds are nice. Wish the other pro packs will go on sale as well.
Well, I put Model 15 in my main synths folder with first spot billing. Are the other 50 or so synth apps I have no obsolete, no. This being Moog produced the quality is there as is the surprising versatility of the sounds. If you like iVCS get this, different deal for sure but that same beautifully deep palette of tools to use is just insane.
I ran a standard, fuzzy Van Halen-ie type of patch through head phones & monitors and the warmth & presence is unreal. Some iOS synths aound good in context of a track but alone the digital/emulated shortcomings become a bit noticeable...Model 15 is not lije that at all.
Listen to ELP's "Lucky Man" and those textures and timbres are here too man! I don't regret buying this beast at all. And with 15 through AudioBus into Auria Pro with an AU of Duplicat my Air2 is working for sure but not anywhere near topped out.
Badass.
Rotor down to 6.99€. The intro price of 9.99 jumped few days ago to 19.99 and now even at lower price than the intro price.
One surprising one I never saw on any discount--> roland Sound Canvas at 12.99 ( normal price 19.99).
Thanks for the info. I have iVCS so that's good to know. I do like Lucky Man! MI'm 99% sold, there's just one thing I'm wondering. My only ipad at the moment is an ipad mini 2 retina with the 64. Bit architecture. It handles all of my apps very well, just wondering if anyone can confirm Model 15s performance on this particular device. I'd like to be able to get the moog app and be fine with it now
Much appreciated your observations about Model 15
looptunes isn't on sale?
It runs perfectly on my iPad Air, so mini 2 should be just fine as well, they're pretty much the same.
I just bought the ampeg and dual microphone IAP's in amplitube, wow this sounds great. I think it is eventually going to take 1st place on my iPad amp sims to be used live. The b15 sounds fantastic, but I'm really blown away by the svt4 pro as I didn't remember that being an amp with a tremendous amount of character. But on amplitube it really works. I hope at some point that they have a little more in there for bassists, but what is there works really well.
will cyber monday be better than black friday?
Well I got the Model 15, now all I need is a comparable iPad to run it on.
March can;t come soon enough....
@mrufino1 is there any way that you can hide the presets that contain stomps and amps which you have not purchased ?
It's so annoying clicking on a preset only to be greeted by a purchase this pack screen.
I dont believe that you can and that's why I haven't used it much to date. But these ampeg amps are really good. The more I use both tonestack and positive grid apps live, the more things I'm finding that I don't like. But ik and IAP'S? Yes, super frustrating.
Yes other than that I do like the sound of AmpliTube and recently purchased mesa boogie iap which I like.
Another good thing about AmpliTube is that iap are available on both my iPhone and iPad which kind of balances the frustration.
All YUJI HASEBE apps now 50% off
Audio Tools $19.99 now $8.99
Roland Sound Canvas $19.99 now $12.99
Aftertouch • 3D MIDI Controller $2.99 now $1.99 (Uses Touch 3D iPhone for 6S and later)
Symphony Pro $9.99 now $7.99
This is a crucial point for anyone considering the app. Even with the price so low in the BF sales, I still passed. Mainly because regardless of the app's fine quality, I just don't want to spend my time learning modular synthesis. Not while there are already so many great apps that I can have fun using, and be more productive with intuitively. Instead, I bought another Moog product that I've had wish-listed for quite a while, AniMoog. Plus some IAP's for it. Sure, there's still stuff to learn, but I'm halfway there already, and can get encouraging results just by messing around. Serendipity is the mother of reinvention!
Similarly, on price, much as I love Blocs Wave and Launchpad, I haven't bought any of the packs currently at 79p. Not because they aren't good, but because I already bought all the packs that interest me at full price.
As for Black Friday itself, who knows what wonderful toys may finally be in reach...

You are a very bad man.
'Cause after talking myself out of this for what seems like sound reasons, I may have to reconsider.
Just curious what packs did you buy at full price?
