Guys. The reason why app store is not full of complete crap like android play store, is becquse they review apps. They are reviewing this app atm and will come out after they approve it. No need to worry. And be glad that the developer want to release a quality product and app store wont let complete fail apps in.

Yeah, I would think it's imminent. The app I uploaded for review last Wednesday went into review yesterday afternoon and was approved an hour or so later. Looks like they are clearing the holiday backlog so hopefully we'll see this very soon!

Still waiting...Apple gave their employees some time off during the holiday so things are backed up...I'm still looking for it to release this week. Any day now...
Positive Grid's app looks way cool...not sure if you can edit their stuff like you can with Drum Session though.... still a very slick looking program....
Thanks for the update @DerekBuddemeyer! I still haven't bought iWavestation cause I want to support your efforts and I know i will love this drumming app! For now, i'm getting my synth fix with Oddy.

I'm trying to manage my expectations here, not because I doubt DS is going to be great (I'm sure it is), but because I know from experience how specific my iOS drum needs are. I remember being over the moon about so many IOS drum apps until I realized they just didn't fit into my workflow (for reasons more my fault than theirs). That being said, an IOS EZdrummer-like (or anything in that neighborhood) sounds very welcome right now. (And I'm still waiting / hoping for Rayzoon to IOS their Jamstix app. That would be truly incredible).
I have Jamari's on the PC but i never really got a full song done with it. It is deep and very configurable, but, i realized that it was just great for jamming. Maybe it was just me, i guess, i could have just recorded the entire jam and then cut and paste stuff i liked. But when I moved to IOS, Rock Drum Machine was the closest thing to Jamstix. It does a great job, but now I really want to try Drum Session. It maybe that all the available tweaking will give it that more human touch instead of a machine type drumming. I hope. I need to see more videos.
Jamstix would be AWESOME if they could do it just like their desktop software. I remember contacting them in the past...years ago and they said there wasn't much interest...another reason why I decided to create Drum Session. I have very specific needs as well that just weren't being met on iOS ...and iOS is my platform of choice...I just need a decent arsenal...drums were the only thing missing...until now

Drag n drop has long been my preferred method for putting tracks together going back to when I used it with Cakewalk. This is going to be so perfect for my needs. When you are choosing grooves do some of the other grooves work well with grooves from other packs?

Not sure where you would bug reports but the stop button doesn't seem to work for me once playback has begun in the timeline. IPad Air 2 with iOS 10.1.1
Edit: stop button works now after an iPad reboot. Great stuff so far!
