    Some Yusuf islam

    Very nicely done.

  • This is only cover I have done though I have some others in my to do list. Video with it also, this was done in BM2 with lots and lots of iSem layers

  • One of my favorite covers from recent years

  • Thanks for this nice thread guys... I've 'liked' most of the covers on pages 1-4, they are almost all really great and make me want to make more music on my iPad when listening to them ;-)

  • @JeffChasteen nice noisy version of the Kraftwerk classic - another one that could do with vocals though. Have you heard the Steve Albini/Big Black version? Not too dissimilar in spirit to yours:

  • @AlterEgo_UK very nicely done, the guitar playing is very tight, and that intro is quite tricky to play so well. It's a pretty faithful to the original version, and the vocals are well delivered , including the slide up in the long "weeps" and the tricky falsettos. There are parts where the voice is a touch flat, but I'm not one to talk :)

Overall this one has a nice vibe to it, and the guitars really bring it to life.

It was indeed a compliment :) , will you be doing a follow up - Night Boat to Cardiff ?

I'm currently working on 'The last bus to Pontypridd' :)

This was a bit of madness (literally) I did a few years back. I'm doing the musical bit and recorded a local nutter that had wandered in for the 'vocals'.

That was quite mad. Like the funk sounds in last section

Thanks, we're all mad here. I like the last bit best, I should have scrapped the rest and expanded that into a proper thing.

    Beautiful!

  • To Doug and the community of supporters. And Kev who checks in on me from time to time. Has been a sad year for music production for me. I admire all of you. Woke up in the middle of the night with this song by Cracker in my head and worked it out to record into iPhone, spruced up in Auria. Hope to be back and contribute soon or some day.

    Good.

Say hello to Ms. Romancito for me. I think we may have met a thousand years ago when we were other people.

    Wow small world

Of course it is a great song, but you sing and play it really beautiful! I enjoyed listening to this one a lot! Well done!!

  • @oat_phipps that's great, very nicely done and chock full of fun. Love the vocals and the harmonies, and the arrangement and performance are excellent.

  • @RedSkyLullaby another great submission. An original take on a classic song, which is what a cover should be all about. Love the weird atmosphere created by the synths, and the vocal is really good and suits the treatment.

How did you do the video? It's very cool.

  • @rkmonkey Nice job, I enjoyed that. Lo-fi feel and full of angst.

Thank you! I really appreciate that, cause I think we did a bang-up job on that cover.
