Still too wide of a net you're casting I think. This app was made for StepBrostep.
Can I show my naivety and say what the funk is ‘Brostep’ lol
You don’t want to know
Maybe Bramstep or Bos-step maybe?
No, no I’m curious....post a vid lol
I guess if you still want the current behaviour, which i quite like also, that could be achieved with untied notes and a slower release on the sound generator.
Bought via Doug's vid link and downloading as we type....
The current behavior won't audibly change, because slides to different notes will still be sent out as overlapping notes.
Did you take the plunge on the iOS 11 thang?
Ahh, LOL, note to self, remember to refresh page, and read collapsed comments.
Anything by Skrillex is considered brostep, among a few others. It's basically like dubstep, but the wobbles are less "bass" and more "scream". If that makes sense
It's like the airbrushed Spring Break tank top of musical genres.
Woot! Big congrats @brambos. Will upgrade to iOS 11 this weekend, entirely due to your offering. Can't wait.
Don’t say I didn’t warn ya

I meant the fact that if you use tied notes of the same value you get each note played but with a gate of the time between notes (as they are overlapped)......if you dont use ties you get very short notes....
The ties when used between equal notes are essentially a very basic gate control.
Oh man - this is right in my wheelhouse.
I didn't see this mentioned earlier - anyone else have two Odessa icons on their screen? I've got a nice and bright one and a dull one also. Just me?
Ok you warned me! I made it 52 seconds in!
Yeah, seems ok so far, taking an age to charge though.
Haven't the faintest clue how to work this Brambos thing yet, so back to Doug's vid for clues...
I made it all the way through. You didn't miss anything.
I plussed this, but I'm plussing it again right here: +1
THANK YOU!!
You ok? Need me to call an ambulance?
would love to be able to assign multiple cc’s to each x/y axis.
anyone getting audio stutter using the app switcher in AUM? iPad 10.5” iOS 11
That's what I really dig about your development philosophy... you consider alternative approaches that achieve the same result, without adding more unnecessary complexity.
My own evolution with this app was first just figuring out how to use it. That didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would. It wasn't long before I was making some very acceptable stuff. Then, you start combining things more, and the possibilities widen substantially. Then you realize that you can mix/match in nearly infinite combinations that then boggle the mind. Often, I'll get something going that was build from some randomly generated patterns, but matched up with other patterns, then sequenced into compositional changes... to the point where it sounds generative, but you still feel like you have complete control over how it evolves.
If I had just one miner irritant, it'd be I wish I could stack these up somehow in the effects slots so that I don't end up with a dozen channels to swipe back and forth between. But, I understand you're already in conversations with Jonatan about this via the "alternate visualizations" you mentioned?
I think this may just be me...
I am referring to the behaviour that Troublemaker shows when using this......you are of course right, as usual, it is changing the behaviour to make other synths behave in this same manner
Off for some much needed sleep when I get home LOL.
@brambos I had BassLine receiving midi from Navichord and I heard it change chords as Navichord’s chord progressions played but now it won’t change it stays in what ever I originally generated in BassLine. Any ideas?
Thanks, but I am okay. I promptly decontaminated myself and my immediate surroundings with this:
Have you changed the settings and disabled "transpose using MIDI"?
PERFECT! Thank you...
