hey, absolutely no worries to all, I'll keep following my instinct. Feedback is information, no harm in that.
Excellent! And thanks for creating this gem
To glory!
Time and time again? Name your top 5 examples, Im not aware of any but admit I may have missed those threads.
I made my own suggestion to the dev. Some here agree with the suggestion. The dev acknowledged. Moving on and not engaging. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
Better things to do like play with some of the lastest new apps like Spacecraft and several killer updates. Maybe a nice Summer bike ride and swim first. Cheers!
I really don’t think anyone should have taken @skiphunt statement personal. Some of us are being demanding, but most are being supportive. No one is telling anyone to not make suggestions or give feedback.
It is great to have you aboard the bus. The buzz for your amazing app is so well deserved.
You are very gracious in handling any pressure from us. And you are a genius developer.
So yeah, you are awesome.
@skiphunt I have to disagree. I think the crazy request threads have been one of the best things about this forum! Apps like Navichord, Quantum, Grooverider, Refraktions, maybe Volt more recently, have become tier one music production tools thanks to the developers being open to the constant requests and where they have brilliantly cherry picked the features that they think will improve the app. Just excellent examples of customer focused and engaged development in my book.
Maybe you think some of those apps became worse or you are referring to other apps?
Anyway, the developer gets the last word and always has the option to either step away or say that an app is done (like Bram Bos did with Rozeta, except he went on and added another module anyway
).
@syrupcore Isn’t there an exclusive part of the forum for developers? I thought I saw it mentioned before.
It might be nice for @deltaVaudio to join that, if it exists.
Just picked this up - mostly cause of the great attitude of the developer (thanks @deltaVaudio ) as I'm not big into granular synths. I've only ever used Tardagrain a little as far as granular goes and I thought that was a pretty good app, but I've only played with Spacecraft 15 mins and I feel a lot of love towards it already. Had a nice piano loop and drone going and it was sounding nice. Later tonight I plan on loading those 2 samples again in BM3 or GarageBand and maybe recording things (hey, preset/state saving would help here..😀)
So thanks again @deltaVaudio - keep up the great work. Can't wait to see future updates!
@CracklePot
You can find the audio files on my website along with a description.
Once the coding cools down a bit, I plan to provide additional samples in future and possibly the option to select between different built-in audio.

when i try to import files it looks
like this. How do i get to audioshare? I tried applications folder but nothing came up
Nice, I’m hearing a lot of “haddock”, I suspect I’m hungry.
Great to get in on the ground floor with this app, it’s going places.
FWIW I think @skiphunt has a point re: feature creep and retaining the focus of an app.
But I’m sure this dev has it covered based on their responses/attitude so let’s collectively enjoy the ride ...
This is what happens right now if you have iCloud turned off. You could turn it on and all would be fine, or I think the dev has an update in the works. I know he is aware of the problem, in fact he figured out the cause.
Ok, the number of posts finally got me to pay attention. Loaded two Carly Rae Jepsen songs in and having a blast! This is really cool. Great find, forum!
Noticed the samples you import don't save upon reopening. Does this clear the cache or is this one of those apps I'm gonna have to delete/reinstall every time it gets too bloated?
@deltaVaudio Here is your to do list for the next build:
Okay...let's be honest no one can give you a to do list but I am willing to bet that if you make these 4 things happen in the very next build, your app will be truly amazing. Any more complicated asks, like; "it needs MPE Mid control", will be a moot point.
You need two chill pills a proofreader and I don’t care if anyone thinks I’m being a dick for saying so.
You could have said “I would love to see...” but instead you assigned a todo list and tried to back pedal in the very same post. Pretty unnecessary.
>
The post could have been expressed more eloquently. But @SMKArtist is still right in saying those are the top four most desired updates.
But that’s exactly my point and my post made it clear that all he had to do was phrase it in a more conducive way. There is no critique of him requesting or his requests.

D’accord.
I am loving the experimental aspect of this app. I’ve been lost in it for an hour.
But, and perhaps I’m just dim, but I’m not sure what the LFO is modulating?
@eross sorry you ran into this one. It's the only known thing that's broken when in standalone which is why I've prioritised it and submitted a build yesterday to fix this. Apple need to review it - should be live today. With the fix, instead of seeing that screen you get a dialogue instructing you to enable iCloud drive (which is the only way to get file load/save to work at the moment). Once that's done I can at least say the app does as originally advertised and then I can start adding features
I know, super boring update
Ps. Now that I know there are quite a few anti-icloud drive folks, I will look into a non iCloud drive way of loading and saving audio
This confused me at fist as well. The LFO is kind of like the play head moving over the waveform and grabbing grains of sound. You can see it visually on the waveform.
@Seangarland the LFO modulates the read position (x-axis of main performance window) relative to where you place the cross hairs. I tried to give the visual clue by showing the dashed line but you can't see that so easily unless you are zoomed in. I'll put a spoken tutorial on my YouTube this week to mention stuff like this
I’m downloading now to see what the fuss is about.
At the risk of adding to feature creep ... it would be nice to copy waveforms across.
I’m enjoying doing all kinds of harmonisation and out of sync beating effects with identical samples ... bit tricky if you’re recording in on the fly.
Top app, my commute has flown by sampling Queensland Rail ...
I second the desire/request for copying waveforms across, and for direct interaction with audio share.. only reason why I haven't copped this yet but all of the feedback is very encouraging.
@TheVimFuego not sure what you mean by copy waveforms across..
Ha, using on the train is fun. But I'm worried that people think I'm an alien recording thier brainwaves.
Thanks for the response. Really loving this app. It gives me an opportunity to use all the short clips I’ve created and stored in AudioShare, but never used for anything. It’s like breathing a new life into found garbage.
