Size goes to 120 in Blackhole vs. 60 in EOS. 😉
It’s completely apples vs. oranges but funnily enough, that sums it up nicely at least for my use.
As someone who remembers going to work by candlelight I’d prefer not to see a return to the days of big nationalized industries and secondary picketing. Oh and I don’t want to leave the EU either so the Monster Raving Loony party is looking good right about now.
This is simple.
Everything.
Blackhole + Tb Reverb and you have the entire universe of Reverbs in your iPad.
I've been asking myself the same question and the more I watch videos demoing Blackhole the more I'm lost… In fact, the main Blackhole's exclusive feature I can see is the ribbon thing ; if it can be automatised in say AUM, this can be a real advantage… but, is it the case ?
No problems at all to automate it in AUM, but you need an LFO like the one in Rozeta, apeMatrix has its own LFO.
Yes the ribbon can be automated, for this reason it's very easy to set up a simple but deep automation
It goes on sale somewhat regularly so if you need some serious machinery for audio editing, mixing or mastering down the road, then you can always pick it up later on. The mixbus and submix functionality with built in channel strips is fantastic for mixing and is a compatible workflow with Harrison Mixbus — a very highly regarded DAW for mixing.
TB Reverb's interface looks complicated. Do the presets handle all the basic reverb needs... then you tweak it from there? I want something that I can slap on a channel and get a nice reverb.... then tweak later, if I want.
When I watch the Blackhole videos, I can't help but thinking the attraction is the brandname... I don't get it. I wouldn't use the slider.
Thanks @Faland and @Carnbot. I use Rozeta, with this ribbon "dancing", Blackhole must be a fantastic tool !… I'm on the "road" to the buy button
Yeah, I've not been using it anywhere near as much as I thought I would do. But maybe if I have a go at some minimal stuff the reverse reverb might work nicely. But I still tend to reach for the FabFilter Pro-R for my reverbs, in the main.
Yeah but you gotta admit, the music was so much better in the 70s than it is now
I'd rather not see the return of Victorian-style poverty, which is what we're witnessing now. But I won't say another word on politics, because it would not end well. Discussing politics outside of a directly political environment never ends well. Already I'm regretting this post
.
And the IAP purchases on sale too
Yeah we'll stop the political discussion, but I was being serious about the music! The 70s was definitely the best decade, it had everything from punk to ABBA, funk to Blondie, the Stones' best albums and Neil Young and David Bowie.
Unique for iPad is at $7.99 now, too.
In BM3 it is only the native compressor/limiter/expander that allows sidechaining. Really hope to do AUs one day.
I was waiting for Factory and is 9.99. Now I now my weekend with aphelian, factory and pure acid is going to be great. Oh yeah!
Or you can get Unique for iPhone which runs on iPad too, just a smaller GUI.
SB asssured me in an email yesterday that their iOS apps were on sale too but App Store discounts were delayed in appearing online.
DDMF apps going on sale tomorrow. Including the amazing MagicDeathEye compressor
You have to exclude 1971 though..... Grandad, Ernie and Chirpy chirpy cheep cheep ?
Thanks.. Effectrix is mine..
Ha. A bit before my time but I agree there was some great stuff in those days.
I would say no. I get much more slicing fun out of the slice randomiser in Blocs Wave- and it’s much cheaper. I have Egoist but hardly ever use it.
It's alright if done in a shoegaze style....
Yah it certainly is the best thing on the horizon right now for this. The routing and lanes was really the biggest surprise when I tried it. I try not to think about how amazing NS2 may become so I can stay focused on my current momentum and not get distracted using it and pining away for the Prince Charming update.
No! Some of my favourite music was released in 1971...
Off the top of my head:
Miles Davis - Jack Johnson
Alice Coltrane - Universal Consciousness
Aretha Franklin - Live at Fillmore
Pink Floyd - Meddle
And many of James Brown’s funkiest tunes.
Why are people talking about politics in a Black Friday sales app, SMDH
Anyways vote Audiobus for 2020 or you are a traitor
They’re just hoping the day after the election is not another Black Friday!
