You are all beyond the pale. Stop trolling me with your anti-Clash sentiments. What were you listening to in 1979 - Journey? Assuming you were alive...

Probably The Wombles in my case :p

Remembemembemembemember What a Womble womble womble you are

    Nah never heard of them.

I remember '79 as the start of the 2-tone scene, so Madness, The Beat and Bad Manners .... and outside of 2-tone a small outfit called The Police :)
The Clash a couple of years later for me, on the back of Rock the Casbah

  • I liked the Specials and the Beat. I was neutral on the Police.

Yeah if I’m being honest, I was listening to The Wombles a few years earlier, then Bolan, then 2-Tone and Tubeway Army in 78

Coming on to this thread to complain about the thread is like seeing a car out of the corner of your eye, running in front of it, and then complaining that you keep getting hit.

You’ve/they/him/whoever made the decision - decided to conduct development of a music app on a public forum, so you’re going to attract attention of the members of it. Be a bit more professional in your replies, you're not doing the developer any favours by alienating potential customers.

What are you talking about? Who are you addressing? I’m assuming me since you quoted? What does it matter that it’s a public forum? People hate this thread and come in to complain that they hate the thread. What about my comment is unprofessional? Especially since it has nothing to do with the app. How has anything I’ve said alienated anyone at all? If any of my comments keep you from buying the app that is plainly absurd and the problem is you. Search through them and find one thing I’ve said that could possibly be damaging to the perception of the app.

Well the sarcastic comment you made that I commented on is hardly going to create positive vibes is it?

Or did you think taking the piss out of people visiting the thread to see if it’s been released yet, potential customers as I like to think of them, was a good idea?

You’re making zero sense. You are simply looking for a reason to pounce and now you have to reach just to justify your anger. I promise you that when Drambo is released there will be at least three new threads to alert you. I promise you do not have to keep sticking your head in the trash bin if you do not like the smell. Just keep walking. I am not the right target for your ire.

The Pop Group, aproximately eleven more fingers on the pulse of the nation/world

  • Could someone please interrupt this with a nice demo of poly-brass preset from Drambo.
Zeeon is good here, Model D maybe a bit better, Drambo new king?

You made a sarky comment, I responded. But apparently I only responded because I'm full of 'ire' and 'anger', and by making the sarky comment in the first place you are totally beyond blame. All my fault, I apologise profusely sir. Seems to be a common occurrence on here.

Tell you what, I won't be "keep sticking my head in the trash bin" again, or buying the thing.

    Slow hand clap etc.

I already have enough cats purring sounds. My cat already is purring if i look at her, lol. But really, its a great sound to calm down. Nice idea to emulate it. Brings me to an octave cat.

We could start with easy things like organs. Just use 4 OSC (simple saw waveform each), each one octave higher than the other, one filter, one envelope, and some saturation. A bit delay and reverb. There is your church organ ;)

  • What about distortion modules? I use distortion on everything. Cereal. Friendships. Reality. I love distortion.

Indeed, i´m a saturation sucker. Tube saturation is my drug but i also take others.
Distortion/saturation is also the way to make a sound really organic if it adds some harmonics at certain gain stages.
I guess it has all the Zeeon saturation modes?

  • Oh yes, let us hear some saturated analog pads, please. Or the saturated brassy sound, my favorites for breakfast ;)

@rs2000 can you help out? I would cheat and use the sampler.

Welp I'm readjusting my estimate of release til mid-July/August.

  • And did someone actually suggest to someone else to be more "professional" when they post? Come on now

Distorted reality is the best reality.

  • In high school my buddy worked as the overnight DJ on weekends for a local AM country station. I’d always call in to the request line and say hey, can you play some Clash? and we’d laugh every time.

  • London Calling

@giku_beepstreet : even a Drambo with some rough edges might help us keep our minds off the apocalypse...
