The combo boxes are the ones when you long press and get add track, add scene etc. At least I think they are!
Ok that makes sense yes been using them very useful for workflow. Didn’t know they were called that though.
LK is near enough the perfect clip launcher now for AUM.
ComboBox aka Dropdown menus are those that for example are used to select the midi input/outpu on a track. They were looking pretty bad for a long time!
Those have been uniformized along the UI.
The menu @gregsmith was talking is usually refered as context menu.
We should continue the housekeeping, revisiting module by module, detail by detail, in order to make the app smoother and prettier. We are keeping the number of new features low in order to give us time to do the maintenance work.
We still have a long list of little bugs and request that this awesome community posts here and many others that reach us by email, YouTube comments and app reviews.
If no one reports a several problem with 1.10.2 we should send it for App Store review to be sent to production.
@sinosoidal The new beta update is great, esp the controller layout. Thanks! But one quick request, is it possible to have all 4 banks buttons shown in top right, rather than a dropdown? Since that requires two taps, in a performance setting, switching banks as quickly as possible would be super helpful. Plus there is enough room to have 4 switches for the banks in the new layout.

@sinosoidal did you secretly sneak in a fix for the Launchpad timing issues? 🤔 Yesterday I was able to record (quantized) some patters from the LP sequencer and they seemed to be identical.
Have to do some more testing though.
I switched from AUM to Drambo btw. Works really well with notes, have to check CCs next.
One thing I’d wish for is multi-channel recording.
It can be done. But I'm still a bit unsure. The status bar is usually reserved for things that are indicative, that can be toggled or have multiple options. It has never been used for buttons.
Let me think about this and more feedback from the community. It will keep it like this for 1.10.2
No, I didn't. I believe that issue is kind of random. We didn't had the time to look at that yet.
Isn't that possible already by arming several trakcs at once (shift + arm track)?

Just updated on iPad Pro running ios13
Tried Egpulse keyboard on LK
Created a beat
But only 1 pad is playing on Egpulse
All midi going to 1 pad
Is this a bug

Is this me doing something wrong ??

I don't have much experience with EG Pulse. Can other users confirm/help?

@sinosoidal Had no problems with EG Pulse piano layout all the kits I’ve tried just map automatically pad for pad and line up with the sequencer.
Midi into LK from EG Pulse if I play in on record goes to the correct tracks/ keys on the sequencer.
So not sure what the problem is running the latest beta.

@sinosoidal Thanks for the update. Switching between keyboard layouts seems to be better for me. I’m happy to see the new EG Pulse and Segments layouts, but I think Segments is missing a pad?!

@sinosoidal Amazing work for new update: quick wishlist for controller layout:
1) ability to adjust order of rows of controls
2) allow buttons to be momentary or toggles; currently second row is toggle only, bottom row is momentary
3) nice to have, customize rows of controls, up to 4 rows of combos.

The controller mode is soooo much better. The new layout with the top-bar and popups is very friendly. Love how you can distinguish what are parameters toy can change (white) and what are just displays (gray). I believe that wasn’t the case before, although Im not sure when because of the update frequency.

Totally off topic... is the Novation Launchkey mini mk3 a good match for LK?. Is it compatible?.
Any future plans for having ghost notes like how atom piano roll has or fl studio?
I honestly feel this is the only thing really missing from this app
It has them. Tap and hold on a clip and choose “Set as Background Clip”. View another clip’s piano roll and you will the background clips’ notes in gray.
You have ghost notes already. Proceed as follows:
At this point you should see the notes of the clip you have set as background in gray color.
You can disable this feature by toggling the status layer icon. You can also swap them clicking the opposite arrows icon.

It has been requested a couple off times but there is no dedicated integration yet. I can’t answer you that question.
Ah, sure, thinking it would be great if controls could be customized on each bank, so one layout could be a mixer setup, next one could be another custom layout of encoders, faders, buttons, etc.
To limit options / impacting layout too much, each row could be editable per bank screen. So, for example, you can have one bank that is 2 rows of encoders, 1 row of faders, 1 row of buttons.
