    ? In what way?

  • "We are excited about iOS 9 from Apple that will be released on September 16, however we are also aware of some compatibility problems with some of our apps. In particular, we have confirmed that KORG Gadget for iPad, KORG Module for iPad and iM1 for iPad have fatal problems (e.g. crash on start-up) so if you wish to continue using these apps please refrain from updating your iPhone/iPad to iOS 9. As with many apps from other developers our other apps also have some issues that we are working to resolve ASAP.

We are currently preparing new updates that are compatible with iOS 9. These updates will be available on the Apple app Store as soon as we confirm they are completely stable. Until then, we advise that you do not update to iOS 9 until all applications have been confirmed as okay. We will inform you once we have finalized these updates which should be very soon.

Gadget/Module/iM1 are all working for me with an OTA install of iOS9 on an iPad Air 2.

    G

Edit: as others have noted, Module works within Gadget, but not standalone.

  • Gadget works normal on iPad Air 2 with iOS9. Audiobus doesn't see any apps. You first have to open the synth/effect before you can load it in AB. I assume the AB update will solve this issue....

  • For me iM1 and Module work just fine even inside Gadget as Gadgets under iOS9 on my Air 2 :)
(I suspect the issues are mostly caused when doing a fresh install of everything, I did an update).

Only nag so far is that the iCloud Drive share-sheet in TwistedWave and some other apps is not working properly (But Open In... from AudioShare still works until they are fixed).

I will be doing a 'clean iOS9 install' on my 1st Gen iPad Mini tomorrow.

On my iPhone 5 all the apps I use there work fine: AudioShare, TwistedWave (with messed up iCloud Drive sheet), iKaossilator, Figure, Cuastic, FingerBeat and iElectribe).

No bigger complaints so far :)

Did a very short test with gadget, opening a few songs, switching between gadgets while playing, played a few notes, and it didn't crash. But, I'd still definitely hold off if Gadget is a crucial app, just in case

  • How about SamplR and Patterning in Audiobus? Without these apps working properly I'd be musically frozen.

So far, Alchemy works with iOS 9 on an iPhone 6 Plus and original iPad mini. Since Audiobus isn't yet compatible with iOS 9, I wasn't able to try Alchemy with Audiobus. I'm going to wait on upgrading my iPad Air 2.

Fingers crossed on being able to use Alchemy along with TC Data at some point on an iPad Pro.

  • Thanks for the reply. I'm in. :-0

  • Alchemy and Gadget are my two apps I'm waiting for full confirmation. Great to hear the early reports! I was afraid my iPad Air 1 would be forever frozen on iOS 8.4.1 because of Alchemy.

  • Once you start an app outside of AB then launch and give the permissions AB remembers the app after you close it. So far anyway.

  • Yeah gadget and alchemy are fine... Only attack not working so far..

  • @jooga1972: Samplr seems to work under iOS 9.0 on my iPad Air 2 - I was able to load an existing project and several of the demos without any obvious problems.

Clicks and pops in Loopy HD. But split screen is sweet. :/

Edit: Seems the clicks and pops are only there with Loopy when using it my iCA4+, but all other music/videos have no clicks pops through it. Hmmm.

  • Gadget and iM1 work fine on Air 1, but Module crashes on launch. It works fine in Gadget though.

  • @Fitz same here on iPad Air

  • Doh... i hope this doesn't delay the Attack updates that will help make it useful

  • Cubasis and IAA appear to be working as well as they ever did.

  • I'm reading a lot of horror stories of devices getting bricked on Reddit....

  • Cool, good to know!

The update hung for quite a while on the very last little bit of the progress bar for me. I wonder if people are panicking and interfering with the update process.

Using this technique, I'm able to load Alchemy into Audiobus on an original iPad mini (after upgrading it to iOS 9).

Alchemy also works on an iPhone 6 Plus using the same technique.

  • I'm running Gadget inside Auria and it seems ok but the Auria Logo is face down when I open Auria

I'm not sure, since I haven't done the update yet, but additionally, a lot of people are reporting that the apple slider doesn't do anything immediately after the update, so they can't get in. Time will tell I guess.

same with me, opening audiobus shows no apps, unless they are already open. did a quick test with rebirth to audioshare and it works.

for me, midi editor [http://nikolozi.com/apps/midieditor/] is broken. i can open it, i can play with the piano roll, but when sending midi to a synth [on this case, dxi] it hangs and crashes. midi editor is my favorite sequencer on ios, so this makes me sad. :'(

i also had a small graphical glitch with gadget [on 8.4.1 or whatever the last one was] when using it on landscape mode, there would be a split second glitch whenever i would go into a gadget track into the piano roll, now thats gone. :D

i have an ipad 4 btw.

  • iPad Air 2, After a quick test the only apps crashing for me are module and attack . On the iPhone sound canvas startup screen is messed up but after that it works ok.

  • I'm in the process downloading it now. Can't hurt me at all on the ipad air 1. After my last post about recording into Auria, I have had nothing but trouble. Can't record through IAA or AB at the moment. I don't even get the top set of wave forms and not the bottom on a stereo track. It doesn't record anything.

Bias, ifretlessbass, guitarism. So.............the download is finished, just the install now. How could it be worse....Me wonders..........
