Safari amkes mysterious things. When i use the arrow to go back i see threads which are some days old? Damn did they include finally a flux compensator and i can travel back in time with iOS 9 :D

Safari...mmm...now seems you've found the secret of the Safari icon, yes it's a compass - for navigating the web, but it also has the semblance of a clock, to navigate time? Well that or you cache is messed up.

I will travel into the future..... to confirm the specs of iPad Pro 2 and iOS 10 :)

  • Find My Phone is very useful for those of us who have kids with iPhones. Daddy knows where you are...

did a quick test with rebirth to audioshare and it works.

Does not work for me :( Moreover, can't get any sound with rebirth in the audiobus input slot, only scattered weird noises

Could someone please tell me if Flux fx is working in iOS 9 ? It is well overdue a promised update but I would hate to lose the use of it by updating to 9 even for a short while.

Just opened Sunrizer into FLUX via Audiobus and it worked well apart from the whole 'do you want to open Flux now' pop up nag which is already getting old. (9/Air1)

What's that - are you asked for every app you open?

  • Thank you Mr Blimp (I am sure you get that all the time) for as long as I can remember I have imagined the faces of people who I knew of but had never actually met and without fail almost every time when I did eventually see their true faces I was completely off the mark but in your recent post of a young JohnnyG I was a bit freaked out by how close my imaginary JG was to your photo. Thank you also to TozBourne for your help

Will 9 be snappier than 8 on older devices? This report is not encouraging: http://arstechnica.com/apple/2015/09/ios-9-on-the-ipad-2-not-worse-than-ios-8-but-missing-many-features/

No. Using it on my 4s right now and becoming very patient... Searching email is painful though, hopefully it's just spotlight needing to index at first?

So far. Must be a way to disable 'thanks, yeah, I'll take the chance', but not found it yet.

Actually, Mister Bimp is a new one. I have been teasing on another thread about the Enormity of Me now that thirty years of America has packed itself on my once slender frame, but that's not actually true. I'm probably average (like in so many things :) for a man who loves food in his fifties; six four and 205. But I really like the whole 'I have no idea what this person looks like I guess I'll just have to judge them on what they make/say' nature of the internet. Perhaps not wholly ideal when looking for a mate (of either short or long term variety), but in almost all other ways good.

  • AB update released, hope this helps you early birds with iOS 9

That sucks arse and would annoy me to distraction. I'm holding fire on this update for now.

  • @monzo

Yeah me too. Too much works for me now to take the risk. The main interesting features for me are not really much use for music as yet...split screen and AU.

  • That confirmation dialog is shown only once for every combination of 2 apps (switching from and switchng to) but still is very annoying.

Nice, the problem is gone - AB now seems to detect all supported apps. And even some that are not installed :) I have Uber Synth in the list, and I'm sure I never downloaded that

    Good to know.

I have an instrument and one fx in audiobus, now start switching between apps with the little ab sidebar it asks for every new unknown combination again, how many times did I press ok now? 4? 5? This will be fun.
but works as expected, @sebastian @michael good work :)

  • I know live switching AB setups during a live performance is not advised at the best of times, but now it would be getting close to setting up a mini moog mid song

I'm not too bothered about the features, but like to keep it up to date. I'll wait a bit for all the apps to catch up and the bugs to be fixed.

  • I might call it a day with this iPad, as its chock full with app goodness.

Father Christmas.....I would like a new iPad for iOS 9 goodness and new apps in about a year....thanks

i get those glitchy sounds when i have rebirth as IAA. audiobus is the only way i can record rebirth into audioshare or auria. such a weird thing. :(

We now have the situation that you can't reach the little ab sidebar in some apps because that gesture brings up slide over but I expected that ...

  • edited September 2015

@lala The work-around for me on the Air 2 is to do a swipe to bring out both the 'handles' from side and then drag out the smaller AB handle to reveal the AB-Panel and leave the 'system-handle' alone :)

Maybe it's too much 're-work' to make the AB-Panel into a proper 'switcher-app' that behaves like the other apps that are in the sidebar/split-view? (This way we could in split-screen mode have control over AB maybe similar to the AB-Remote?).

Or maybe a future version of AB-Remote can work in split-screen mode on the same device?

  • I think the solution is simple, developers can choose where the ab sidebar should appear, everyone that used on the right should choose something else now.

  • First thing i did was turn the annoying slide feature off. Too often it appears when i don't want it. Multitouch is great but if some things use similar or the same gestures it's a bit odd ;)

that's in the works, me thinks

Best would be like Alchemys IAA panel which i can drag and drop where i want.

Hm, up and down are also used only left is free. Maybe a 2 finger gesture? If that is possible.

And Siri would say "How Wude!"
