Jordantron, but requires about a gig of storage.
I just discovered you can load loops(basslines/chords) into Mo Drums about 3 weeks ago myself
So, you are not alone.
Yeah. This is good. But it's TOO DAMN BIG. Understandably maybe. A bit like having a cake that doesn't fit in the fridge so you never think to eat it.

Looks like an interesting app but I would imagine it'll not work with many other apps due to the length of time since an update. Can you confirm (and anyone else) what you know it is working with?
imaschine love that app
The button appears on the upper left, once you've enabled it. You enable it with a smaller button on the bottom left, which is only available when the slide-out tray on the right is open.
It defaults to "off", so you need to turn it on with the bottom left button after launch.
I'll add Grain Science and it's free lil brother, Sylo which has a really nice FM mode and more granular mode than GS.
Bent.fm! For funny, busted noises. I think I found just by going through the audiobus supported app's page.
GrainProc is cool too, from the same developer. It's the best recorder interface for a granular synthesizer, you just hit record and it starts piping stuff in, and then freeze, when you want it to hold still and play with the audio in the buffer.
You had THIS on your doorstep, my good secret agent ... and passed?!? Good heavens, etc ...
Yeah, I like it - a great addition to my theremin/neo-theremin folder (Ondes, eTheremin, Bebot
Jam synth, can't remember if that was mentioned yet. It's lovely.
+1 on Jam Synth. Totally have forgotten about this!
Ya, I forget about it as well, and it is sooo good. I'm wondering what the freeze is like in the IAP's?
If it doesn't rain I'll be sticking my real theremin in the bushes by the front door this weekend to scare the kids away.
Anyone mention monotone delay?
Simple little app but does it well, looks and sounds great and is fun to play.
oo, just remembered Tachyon. But its not been updated in a long time.
Awesome! Must. Film. Share.
I propose that putting my theremin in the bushes should henceforth be a forum shorthand phrase to be employed for any number of nefarious reasons.
A theremin in the bush, is worth two in the band.
I've been enjoying Musiclock quite a bit. Very nicely designed tool to jam along with ...
Also, Tin Pan Rhythm. Both are seemingly simple tools but so well designed that they're a pleasure to play with.
Also fun with fugue machine
JG goes off to start the substantial uploading process again again...
I'd love to stick around and comment, but it's time to put the ol' theremin in the bushes, if you know what I mean ...
That's better. Here's an iPhone app that's saved a few song ideas on the go or when time is limited, haven't seen mentioned, maybe, ever? At least for a long time:
Multi Track Song Recorder
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/multi-track-song-recorder/id390599090?mt=8
Super easy to use, 4 tracks of recording (which can be bounced to keep adding tracks if you want), MP4 export – you can even export stems – Dropbox support, metronome, count in, looping – all for free.
Umm - Too much is NEVER enuff!
1 is too many and a thousand is never enough.
Never come across it before. Went crazy and bought the pro version ($1.99 and mainly because it's at least been updated this year (Mar 2015) and I have such formative -good-memories from my first four-track....
@JohnnyGoodyear - yeah, it is a lot like having a cheap Tascam on your phone. Gets the job done - It's what I used to capture the demo I just posted. Very handy.
But half the fun was splicing, reordering, reversing and mangling party streamers.
And 30-60 second endless loop answering machine tapes.
