Or times when there is a bush, and times when there is no bush.
ChrystalSynth XT. Wow! The breed button and everything else under the hood for making GREAT new presets with ease.
All the voice talk made me remember Voice Synth. Superb app.
Literally unsung, by me, for some time. Two years since it was updated and doesn't seem to like Audiobus anymore...was/is a good piece of work. I miss it more now than I thought I would. Dead dogs pinch at the heart etc.
Hmm, been a long time here as well. I thought it got back on the bus by way of IAA or something.
I too wish Voice Synth would be updated. Maybe another developer will/could pick it up?
SAS 2A would be an unsung app if only it played with others.
Juicy combo indeed.
I love TURNADO with TWEAKYBEATS.................................
Crazy Bassline type Beats with harmonic overlays ...........all with a monophonic 16 step app. Crazy easy for performance as well since TWEAKY is AB remote enabled.
LP-5
Finally got around to using it, and I'm not sure I'd call it amazing because it is a relatively simple audio clip launcher, it's a quality app no question.
RHYTHM STUDIO!!
Newest UNSUNG APP.
I know it's MIDI status. But, that is good for me for the purpose I need. Sometimes, its nice to NOT have to worry about MIDI notes triggering or setting things that are essentially 303 or simple rhythm beats.
Just wanted to put this one out there.t
Honorable mention, ITuttle. It will be back on A-Bus in the coming month or so and it is best mono synth available in my opinion.
Yeah, this is an old favorite of mine.
ALL of his apps are 1st class and on all my IOS devices and used regularly.
MoDrums and Bassline are only apps I use EVERY day for something.
Sometimes I use MoDrums as a sequencer for rhythm synths or basslines in other apps.
LP is fun and easy to use. It is even better if you use the other apps which work seemlessly with it. Great for melody making to practice vocals or develop a lead.
Good call on Bassline. Been off my radar for a very long time, but it does what it does well...
BASSLINE my favorite app for what it does.
l love it.
Seriously, though, the app that I am goofy over and loving is RHYTHM STUDIO!
Funny. As a result of your previous post I dug out Rhythm Studio again and had a fiddle. So basic in some ways, but that seemed like a good thing in parts (having been up to my broken ears in Attack).
A little crashy here and there but I LOVE the Control Pad Mk 11. Lovely.
I like the way you make that sound like a good thing, when to some of us it's 'throw iPad at wall time'
No. I don't mind the odd crash when all I'm trying to extract is a few bars of summat, as opposed to the whole set of choppers etc.
GM Mobile just earned a point back. The audiocopy issues I was experiencing where down to Audiocopy app and not GM Mobile. now that I uninstalled audiocopy app, audio copy through general pasteboard is working fine within GM Mobile
This bassline app, what does it do? :-/
Erm. Basslines. Deceptively simple. Step recorder. Muy funky etc. And easy. And good.
303 emulator
Never let it be said that devs are ambiguous with the naming of their apps! :P
I am by no means a 303-man but the fact that you can easily/quickly/visually/touch-screenly change the Freq Response and Envelope AND (most importantly) run the thing through AB (into FLUX:FX is my favorite) then Full Joy is yours to be had etc.
It is cheap and well worth it.
Secondly, like MO DRUMS, it has superbc MIDI implementation / sync.
You can actually use Bassline to drive another app.
plus it is also on IPhone.
Well worth it.
QUality app all the way .
2 thumbs up.
'Changeling sequencer'
@crzycrs Changeling sequencer seconded!
App may be great, since I am not on mescaline this demo vid is killing me.........................................
I will look for a little more upbeat vid.
ThANKS
A Mozart Symphony.
More on Bassline: Have never really used it with other sounds (thanks @RustiK), but it was a breeze to set-up and has given whole new life to that old stand-by Sunriser. Some serious thump.
birdstepper
Way back in the dinosaur era in like 2011, before Wist or any real hi-tech, MoDrum and Bassline running on two different devices were able too see each other and sync thru some automagic. I believe this developer was the one who wrote the original API for Virtual MIDI.
