@wally I am all about the polish, but when it comes to videos, simple, straightforward, step by steps, garner far more word-of-mouth return.
Show us how to and, if the app is all that, we will.
Idiots guide needed urgently. I can't get a sound out of it
In cream tap the settings wheel/star, and select as midi output network session 1, as has been said above, in thumbjam select cream/clock as midi in.
Tap a key/s
Ah ha.
Edit
It works much more as you would expect in v1.01 you can see the list of sources and destinations.
@Kirnu Thanks for getting this out for Christmas and looking forward to the update. Any chance of sneaking Link into the next update?
Hi Wally, I have the settings enabled but never get anything in the list except internal and network session 1. Perhaps you are on a newer version where this is fixed?
I can still connect to other apps if I do it from the external synth but would be good to select from Cream.
Starting to like this now! the first 10 minutes or so is not easy. Needs time wth red wine The multitrack is the killer feature here over SPA so will get the in app purchase.....not sure about the built in synth yet. Like midisteps this would be great with au.
Hey Arto, any chance for an iPhone version for us iPhone plus users?
I am using the same paid for, incorrect release version from Appstore , and it was working fine when last I wrote I swear , but I've since had @Littlewoodg 's crash scenario , so after a delete and install maybe it's better for the moment to leave " Connect midi devices automatically " off .
Loading Cream last , after any virtual synths & external midi devices , seems to have them all appear correctly in Midi Input/Output lists in Settings & work correctly with @crzycrs method of using Network Settings for Cream Output port & select Cream as input in virtual synth .
I hope this thread doesnt turn into a long bug report, unnecessary of course because they're already fixed & much improved in the next release , but In the interests of solidarity in a holding pattern until then , I should warn users of a graphics issue with Step On/Off
( orange dots under lanes ) buggy behaviour on QuickEdit page . It doesnt appear you've turned them off , but goto Mainpage & they are off , go back to QuickEdit & NOW they are off .
Doug is a self confessed Midiot (his words)
Yeah, with all due respect to Doug, I think this app requires a Let's Play from Tim Webb or maybe Jakob Haq. Doug can tickle the ivories with the best of them, but once you start getting into MIDI and "under-the-hood" settings, things occasionally go awry for Doug.
Doug does not like complicated matters, except the SB Obscurium!
Well if the wrong app is released --- I think it is a NO BRAINER that ALL OF US who bought it to support it right out of the gate deserve FREE FULL UPGRADES?
That is fair and very real world customer support in my opinion.
We obviously took the leap within the first 12 hours of release. That shows support and trust on our halves.
A delete and reinstall fixed my midi settings issues.
Same here, and also making sure a certain synth wasnt lurking unseen in the background (love the synth, don't want to impune it's good name)
Actually I think that it's about time we saw that boffin Colin up front and center...
Special Christmas offer to all Cream Mobile owners:
Contact us and you'll get access to latest TestFlight version. This is the same version which is now included in the 1.01 version.
support at kirnuarp dot com
Kirnu Interactive
Well, I think our customer service is best it can be. Sometimes I have other things to do and don't have time to read all forum threads.
I'll enable the app in all countries when the next version is released.

I have never used iPhone plus so I can't say for sure but I think the UI needs at least iPad screen.
If someone have good ideas how to fit the UI to smaller screen please let me know.

Hi Arto, not sure if mentioned yet but any plans for Link support? Great app btw, look forward to the update.
Any newbies finding love for this yet?
Having taken advantage of the offer above to get the TestFlight version I'm liking it a lot better thanks.
Can't find the support at kirnuarp.com.
Replace the at with @ and the dot with . It then becomes their email addy......
Thanks !
Hello Arto:
Thanks for the offer, intelligent and kind I like your app, think it offers much and am looking forward to the next version. No terrible hurry as there's some kind of pagan festival taking up all the time right now. When do you hope/expect the 'corrected' version to get propagated? (If it's going to be ages and ages I will follow up on the Testflight offer etc .
Thanks.
Availed myself of this offer, as @JohnnyGoodyear put it so well, an offer both intelligent and kind...
Bang boom pow it works beautifully (in other words exactly how I wanted it too: point midi notes and clock to Cream from MTS, Cream points its midi magic at Addictive synth, AB flows Creamed, Addictive, audio back into MTS.).
Will test: When Cream and Addictive are set in separate AB paths into MTS, I'll get Cream's own drum loops and synth on a separate audio track into MTS...Edit: yep, dead sexy and shit-hot.
Now: Too giddy with the magic to test the possibilities of all four tracks at once.
Can the horrible orange/blue iPad skin be swapped for the much more pleasant silver skin of the VST version?
Thinking about this very thing last night (albeit to do with Mister Rim and his piano roll design @WaveMachineLabs): How much of what we feel and also achieve is connected to the look 'n' feel rather than the explicit functionality? How much do I enjoy driving my car because of the way it looks beyond just its capabilities beneath hood?
To everyone who purchase Cream and were disappointed please do yourself a favor and take up the developers' offer of downloading the TestFlight version. Works right out of the box and it's a lot of fun. Merry Christmas to all!!
Thanks for your kind words.
The new version status is currently 'waiting for review' and because it's Christmas time and all it could take longer than normally to get the new version approved.
