Maybe... just MAYBE... Arturia Spark ? :D iOS ?
HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE ?

    Just perhaps?

  • So, what is it that sets this apart from our other wide choices in drum apps?

For one thing it is released along with a whole bunch of video tutorials! Finally somebody gets it!

  • Can it be linked to the hardware?

  • Not sure...comes with Ableton Link, but no midi learn yet unless I've missed it

  • iSpark is an awesome creation - sounds, workflow, user samples, synthesis, FX, patterns, song mode. The works!

  • seems it's 64bit only so older devices are not supported

    bummer. second-class citizen.

  • :)) I told you guys it's Spark! I KNEW IT! YES !

Rolf was tinkering with a drum machine for a while...

    :'(

I'll play with the desktop demo to see what I'm missing

  • This does look real nice but just not sure what separates it from our other drum apps?

    It is tempting me somehow!

  • Hmmm.... Interesting - I've watched the soudtestroom video and read all description and I think you can't add your own sounds, anyone confirm?

Get the impression that if you have the desktop version, you can transfer stuff to and from it.

Which, for me, is brilliant. I'm assuming that they're expecting people to do the same in order to use their own sounds.

Says it integrates with spark le

    it's iElectribe2!

    ;)

  • I'll wait for more reports.

Could not see/hear any mention of iCloud Drive for import and export and nothing about recording and editing user samples, alternate time signatures, triplets etc.

And really, do we need yet another 'beatbox'??

Yes pretty sure you can't import sounds, I bought it and can't find the option. Hope this is planned, I prefer to use my own samples. Looks good though otherwise :)

It's not just another one :D Spark is really nice. I mean it's not 100% like its desktop counterpart, but it's very deep and easy to understand.

My thought exactly. That's why I'm really excited :)

    Ielectribe on roids perhaps even.

  • Does anyone know if and how do you import samples? Don't have my iPad with me

  • The layout seems very comfortable.

  • edited February 2016

Having Link and a dedicated hardware controller is cool. Just need to know

1 can it run in background?

2 can you load own samples?

3 what time signatures does it have?

4 can the controls send midi cc's?

  • Import own samples - select studio view and click to change sample name you will see pop up menu with lots of import options.

  • ^^

Plus can it play long low kick in quick succession without clicking ?

  • Ok,not too bad.I already have a lot of iOS drummer but one developed/ported by TR is definitely tempting. An AU version would make the decision VERY easy though ;)
