Mmhhh.... I know that for such a low price it is an awesome beautiful created little app....point! Don't read further if you don't like critic....
But when i just judge it from the things i heard yet i find that the timbre is nearly always the same mettalic sound and seems not very versatile.
I wish icegear would make a synth which combine all their tools in one app. IOS need finally more versatile synths where i can learn to programm one tool in depth and have an all-in-one solution.
I can even create similar sounds with other apps i have (Mitosynth with the tube resonance and some modulation f.e.).
Dude, Anything that:
-satisfies your appetite for completing your never-ending App collection
-accentuates your frustration for not reaching that goal
Count me in!
P.S: I agree with Cinebient and though the blue graphics candy-wise and Christmas bells tone
appeal to me, I am still hesitating on purchasing that one.I've suceeded NOT updating to Auria Pro
so why does this tiny almost meaningless synth is making me feel guilty ? I don't even drink beer anymore!
I'm with you on the cessation of beer (and vodka and port and wine and sake and rum and so on and so forth and into the sea etc), but this is my financial trump card. Forget the 'it's the price of a coffee', I work on the economic justification that 'Auria Pro? Less than that third bottle of posh wine I bought but can't remember....'
Yep it's pretty much a one trick pony, similar to my love of all things wavetable. Gotta love what is does do well though
Pretty pony in places.
I love synths that are very focused on specific functionality. I tend to get on best with those - iceGear's are cases in point.
I haven't fired up more complex synth apps like Thor that try to do everything in more than a year.
Gadget is a special exception because it's really a collection of simple gadgets that you can plug into a sequencer.
This is exactly how things work with me, as well. When I'm working on something, I often say "this needs something that goes PLINK" and then I go to my best apps for making PLINK sounds (or sample something). To me, the sometimes perceived disadvantage of the iOS app ecosystem is actually an advantage...
I'm only seeing one video of this app, where's the beef?> @GovernorSilver said:
you do know that the word one in 'every(one)' doesn't mean that 'one' equals everyone right..
@Johnba, thanks for the video, appreciate the insight.
I was joking.
i know man
Update is taking awhile to approve?
Update in the apple store
Since the update, no issues for me. It's great, I'm getting some wonderful sounds!
