Wow, thanks for the video but I'm still totally clueless as to how to use this thing! @thesoundtestroom or @pantsofdeath help!!

Here's a vid I did, may still leave you clueless. You don't need to know what you are doing to make nice sounds however

  • just one question, I know it can import samples but how many sample slots are there specifically?

Well - I think 2, you can feed any combination of 2 Samples/IAA's/FX apps, or Stereo signal from mic/line into the 2 Samplers.

One other neat feature - you can Export Samples directly to other apps with the "Open In" option - so if you get a drum sound you like etc., click "Open In" and it copies right to the file directory of Patterning (as an example) and opens the App as well.

  • cool thank you

  • When you say varisound samplers, does this act like Roland varisound where the pitch changes but the time/length of the sample does not?

  • I'm buying this anyway though regardless

It's varispeed - dunno about varisound.

  • I've been playing with this today so I'll probably get a demo out tomorrow or the day after but just buy it, it's very very good, and it has a synth built right in, plus around 200 presets, I've been loading samples of full tracks in and just going nuts, adding IAA effects and all sorts of other madness

  • Very exciting release @mauriziogiri

Moebius Lab feels like a big push forward for iOS Music and we thank you for blazing a trail boldly into the unknown.

  • Guys is the synth monophonic only?

  • I hate waiting, but this was worth the wait.
    Excellent!

  • Head exploded! You are a mad scientist, its so so sick!

Is that not a literal diagram which Defines productivity? B)

  • Is anyone interested in Sharing Preset Snapshots? Since Moebius saves all of the parameters statefully, I think it would be a great way to build out some banks for us all! - I made a Dropbox Folder called Moebius Presets with Subfolders that match all the Default Banks in Moebius. With the below link you can share/download.

  • Awesome. Looks like an ApeSoft app. I take it there is some connection with the developers?

according to Doug's interview (thesoundtestroom) with Maurizio the algorithms are by Maurizio (Amazing Noises) and Allesandro (Apesoft) provides the interface coding - great teamwork

    cheers, Tom

  • Is there a way to lock the input, so that as you select different patches, it overrides what is set in the patch?

Yep, it's one of those apps that is so amazing that it stimulates ideas for more amazingness

  • It's not often i get 'scared' about the noises I accidentally make.
This app was just too hard to resist for a recovering appoholic.

Just about the only nag I have is that I wish it was possible to 'scroll' the UI up and down when the on-screen keyboard is visible making live-tweaking a bit easier. The 'lock' is a temporary solution to sustain the note while the keyboard is hidden, quite handy for drones :)

  • I gotta watch Dougs vid on it, cuz I couldn't even make a noise accidentally.

  • Is it easy to master it and make specific sounds? I like the simplicity of DFX and Turnado glitches ,disappointed with Flux:FX player and looking for some new sonic paths.

for the sampler you can deactivate this button

Hi Samu, you can move the keyboard up and down: there is a "drag area" on the right of the tiny keyboard icon.

Thanks! It will take some time to master this app :D

Can I have different coloring options for keyboard? The white color is too stimulating. Thank you.
