  • The new Gadget demos haven't really sold me however. I'll leave it for others to take them for a spin....

  • Promising update, the ability to have up to 5 insert effects is certainly beneficial. Just tried a few attempts to purchase the new instruments and am getting an "invalid item ID" error message for each one, which then completely locks up the whole app. Anyone else seeing the same behavior?

  • Super exciting stuff but downloading super slowly

  • Not seeing this in the U.S. Store yet but I had an old update already needed and perhaps when that is done or around midnight our time hopefully at least. What are the three new gadgets?

  • iM1 and Module have updates too, I hope mellow tape is mellotron

  • I see it now. The Gladstone is the one I will be interested in hearing more on.

  • C'mon KORG...Independence Day and this update deserves a sale... :)

  • ...And bingo! It's on sale right now! (50% off).

Same here. Tried reinstalling but didnt help.

    Ooooohhh. Look at that firework!,,,,

  • Korg Module 50% off too it seems.

  • Omg!!! Gadget is side chaining, I love Korg so much!

New modules aren't on sale ($9,99). Bilbao and Abu Dhabi are on sale: $4,99 (50% off).

    Like Gladstone sounds.

  • Can Gadget export MIDI now? Can it be controlled by an external sequencer (read: Auria Pro's piano roll)? Or is it as closed an environment as it ever has been?

  • Korg Module Mellotron is free!

    80's Electric Piano is 9.99.

No idea if there is a companion gadget for Gadget.

  • It looks like it just hit the store so the new gadget videos are not yet available. :/

It's had midi export and multi channel midi input for months now.

After restoring purchased apps, it worked.

  • The Gladstone and Madrid demos sound very cool. Too expensive for me though. I'm not spending $30cad on 2 gadgets.

  • Wow these gadgets look really exciting. A dedicated acoustic drum simulator?! We still need those in general, let alone within the excellent Gadget ecosystem!

Hate to say it, but still bummed there's no audio import gadget like the GarageBand microphone.

I never got the iM1 remote install to work - paid like 30 bucks for that on my iPad but would much prefer to use it on iPhone. Will give it another go but not optimistic they fixed it.

  • Amazing update. I love all of it but mostly the Kamata and the side chaining.

  • The Free Mellow Tape Keyboard (Mellotron) in Module is very nice. So if you have Module, you now have 20 free new sounds in your Glasgow gadget.

  • Korg module now universal! So glad I didn't buy the iphone version even though I was seriously tempted.

Respect to Kamata but I spent years trying to run away from that sound. ;)

  • Looking forward to what Mister 2000 has to say on these updates...

There is also another Mister 3000 speak person... He gonna bring new CC template for you?

Agree. As much as I enjoyed my NHL 94 on Sega Genesis, I don't need my music to sound like it.

But is module worth it? Do they exist outside Gadget?

I like that Mister 3000. Use it quite a bit considering it's as basic as a plain board, but still.....would love new templates (and some more functionality :))....

  • Woah that sidechain works. I am not much for thumpy thumpy dance dance but boy its fun.

I don't know, kind of sounds like you are for thumpy thumpy dance dance.
