I can not wait any longer!

The question is: what app update, you know it's on it's way, are you waiting for?
For me, it's Cubasis 2.0

  • Several: Cubasis 2.0, Beathawk, Beatmaker 3, Fruityloops 3, AudioBus 3...

  • Fruity loops 3, caustic 2. The ikaossilator upgrade that I just know is going to happen before I die. Also the next iteration of the Soundprism brand. Though that will probably be a while.

All but one Cubasis update has been released in less than 4 months. So I've set my internal expectation for September 12th :)

    1. Samplr
    2. Beathawk
    3. Skram

iKaossilator 'Gadget' would be awesome! :D
(This would yet again increase the amount of sounds available inside Gadget).

Yeah, next update to Caustic would be nice as well as an update to Nanostudio...
I'm also waiting for the AUifixation of the rest of the PPG stuff(WaveMapper and WaveGenerator).

  • i dunno about an ikaossilator gadget, there's things it does that couldn't be easily put into gadget, but an optional Kaossilator playing surface for the gadgets in addition to the keyboard would be a really nice.

  • Loopy Masterpiece, AB3, Samplr, Cubasis.
Animoog, actually, could use an update.

  • I know it's a long shot but more AU-X enabled apps.
(IceGear stuff as AU-X would be sweet).

Also still waiting for Dagger and Sunrizer AU from BeepStreet.
I suspect VirSyn is also working on AU-X versions of their apps....

    1. Cubasis 2.0
    2. New Gadgets
  • Beatmaker3 mostly, then Samplr & Gadget as a full blown DAW.

  • Any EZDrummer-like app for iPad.

    Thinking being?

  • I've been on this forum since late 2013, and some of the most popular responses have not changed this whole time. For example: Audio Tracks in Gadget...even though there's never been any particularly strong indication it will ever happen.

But then a surprise update like the one that made Gadget universal drops and it's like Christmas here.

I've never been a huge fan on hoping for added features to apps we already have. It's great when it happens and frustrating that it doesn't happen more, but begging for it constantly leaves me with a pretty empty feeling. We have so many different options that do different things, I prefer to focus on what we can already do.

  • Both iPolysix and iMS-20 as 'Gadgets' and 'AU-X' would get me going... :D

  • Multitrack DAW, 2.0, or next version? Something..........AU for Auria Pro.

  • Sebastian is gonna love this thread!

  • I'm excited for Nanostudio 2, but I can wait.

  • Logic Pro iOS

Even though I've only had it a few weeks, it feels a bit long in the tooth. There's a few bugs - the arp stops when using it via Aum, I get stuck notes with MIDI, and the sequencer looks like it was designed by Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen.

Nothing major, it sounds lovely, but enough to stop it being a 'go to' synth for me.

There are others needing updates - Skram for one - but it'd be great to see Korg spreading some love on some of their older apps.

  • Developers are waiting....... no need to show their hand right now... it's competition- don't forget. It's a bit like football not being a sport- but more of a business. I hope you don't think that new apps are released just as soon as they are ready- do you? What is the point commercially of being two steps ahead when one is sufficient? It's what we voted for!

Sunrizer for iPhone! I really want to be able to use the same presets I've made in the AU/VST my iPad version on my iPhone (especially since I've pretty much abandoned the iPad 3, it's way too slow compared to my iPhone 6. Also the slicker looking UI from the AU in the iPhone version would be sick!

I hope that doesn't include chocolate digestives.

Funny. I always feared that the main thing I would end up missing about Blighty was knowing who'd died, but it turns out that what I don't know is who people called Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen are in the first place. Although the merest inspection suggests Barry Gibb.

As for iPolysix, I hear you. Only really use it in Tabletop, so hard to separate where the bugs are coming from, but I do like it. And would certainly be happy with a wash and brush up.

    AudioBus 3.1 (with AU support)
    Auria Pro (with AU support)

Actually though ... I can wait as long as it takes. I never did get the whole "I can't wait" thing when it comes to upgrades. I have enough toys to keep me busy the rest of my life as it is.

  • Ableton link + Audioshare would make me want Cubasis 2 really hard. (Auria Pro is awesome don't get me wrong)

New Gadgets with the amazing quality of the last 3.

And an animoog 2.0 with some things from Model 15, like ableton link and ipad pro interface would be gigantic also.

AudioShare support kinda is already there already using the iCloud Drive/iOS-DocumentPicker...
    Super easy to import/export from/to AudioShare :)

Cubasis also accepts 'Open In...' from AudioShare if there is a need to browse/play content in AudioShare prior to importing into Cubasis.

Yeah, thanks for the info. I was kind of aware. Thing is, as easy as the audioshare convoluted menu on Auria.

Guess I'm being too precious on this.

Agreed. But the thrill of the new! Especially Loopy Masterpiece.
