I'm bookmarking this thread as a cross-reference the for next time I see "I'm waiting for a sale before I buy..."

  • Who knows, maybe Roland will surprise us with AU-X versions of the Butique line :D
Most of all I'm really looking forward to Cubasis 2.0.

iOS10 is also something I look forward to and that shouldn't be too long maybe ~1 month or so.

....To get my hands on some hardware modular knobs.
Watched so many mother32 and lifeforms videos. All I need is the $$

  • I'm hoping the fine people at Moog are in the lab developing their answer to Gadget. Hopefully its something like "Animoog Studio". Like if your Gadget project just had around 16 Animoogs as gadgets running. Only they'd streamline it so it has the appearance of just one synth generating all the music in realtime. Also there's a customizable chord maker type thing. And that concludes my fantasy of the day.

  • Well I can wait, but what I would like is someone to take an old fashion sampler with synth capabilities, splits, layers, full sample editing / manipulation, automation and great midi implementation. I would like all this but with a touch screen centric interface :)

    Hi all,

It's the same for us, we’re thoroughly excited and can’t wait to release the next Cubasis update (which will be free of charge for existing customers)!

We make good progress and everything is on schedule so far. Nevertheless it still will take a moment until ready to be released...

    Best,
    Lars

Love the usage of the word 'moment' as it is very, very undefinable period of time :)
I trust the next version of Cubasis will run flawlessly under iOS10...

Sending the camera enabled drones to the Steinberg offices as we speak, to try and get a glimpse of that schedule :p

See if they can also find out how many 'credits' I need to have on my iTunes account for IAPs if there will be some :D

I'll try, as long as Lars hasn't already issued the security code red, and all the shutters on the windows have come down :D

Hope it's not gonna be 64-bit only, or I'll curse them :)

No new IAPs in this update, all new features come included and are free of charge for existing customers.

Summer paired with high temperature returned to Hamburg the last two days, so thankfully the shutters on the windows have come down indeed ...

    Hi all,

We're perfectly on time and things run very smooth with both Cubasis and Cubasis LE updates.

Please allow me to confirm that zooming has been improved in the arrangement window, same for the MIDI and audio editor.

But take this just as a very small piece of the puzzle compared to all of the new feature additions, improvements and fixes to be released with the upcoming updates.

One of our testers asked me just yesterday "Existing users will get all of this for free?".

    So let me re-confirm:
As stated and promised before, the next update again comes for free for existing users.

P.S.: And the moment it will take is getting dramatically shorter every day...

    Enjoy being creative
    & have a great weekend,
    Lars

    great to hear!

makes me wonder how short a moment can get ...
