Thanks for the update regarding the update
Cubasis 2.0 sounds great!
I might re-download it and have another go if the piano roll is improved.
I would really like it to have a fold to scale piano roll like Gadget has. Guess there's no chance of that @LFS?
Also, anyone able to tell me how Cubasis is at hosting and automating Animoog, Animoog iPhone and Model 15 as IAA instruments?
That would be attractive.
Don't have model 15 but cubasis works with Animoog just fine in conjunction with midi learn.
Cool. Thanks.
I do not know everything in it but I have a hunch this will be another great upgrade. Should not be long now hopefully.
Just fixing the Freeze/render timing issues would do it for me.....but it would be sweet if they throw in a few more inserts slots for plugins and import/export from the timeline
Totally agree! It's quite annoying that when freezing a track the audio is 'off the grid' and arrives before the midi-note(s) are triggered causing the transient of the first note to be cut-off since the recording starts when the note is triggered.
This can be somewhat remedied by adding an empty bar before the midi-notes and manually trimming the audio-afterwards. Hardly an optimal solution...
On the positive side when freezing the built-in Micro Sonic, or MiniSampler it works perfectly but the Micrologue synth suffers from this too.
I really hope that Automatic Plug-In Delay Compensation is in place once 2.0 ships...
Depends on whether you're sitting on your sweetheart's lap or a hot stove.
(Something my grandfather used to say)
Brilliant.
I'd like something new from Holderness or Klevgr, mostly just to know developers such as these haven't abandoned iOS.
On facebook Klevgr just posted in june about their AUs and Holderness posted something last week

haha, yes that's good advice, I was thinking more of Achilles and the turtle when I posted
Sweet. Looking forward to it.
Yes, indeed.
The update sounds, looks and feels great.
All additions are perfectly implemented for iOS use and feature well-thought-out usability concepts, to support you best from capturing ideas or working on musical masterpieces.
The waiting time is getting shorter and we're eager to hear your feedback, once the updates have been released.
If you've missed the previous postings, I can share these infos at this moment:
Zooming will be improved in the arrange window, as well as audio and MIDI editors
The update comes free for existing users
The update will be ready for iOS 10
All new features, improvemts and fixes will be announced with the release.
I'm very proud of our great small team who put their hearts and souls 24/7 for quite some time in-between.
Best,
Lars
.
Awesome. Take your time refining the release and surprise us with the new features!
I really can't wait to get my hands on the update to check out those small issues that have been bugging me for quite some time as I hope they have been fixed.
Hopefully 'track-freezing' will be 'perfect' and 'spot-on the grid' together with more options for the gird in the note-editor
I'm keeping my fingers crossed as well for my favorite bugs to be eliminated
I really do love Cubasis enough to resisting the Auria Pro temptation
This sounds very imminent
Great stuff indeed @Lars Would there be any chance if your brilliant Nanologue app be intergrated into Cubasis? Or even better still, made into a AU Unit please?........ Looking very much forward to receiving the hard work your team is doing.
Yeah, considering the grammar, like 'put' meaning they are already done
(If it was not 'done' it would be "still putting their hears and souls 24/7").
Track-Freezing will be the first thing I will test as I'm so 'addicted' to the Poison-202 synth it's crazy...
Thanks for the update @LFS looking forward to 2.0. Hope there will be some IAPs so we can pay something back for all the work.
Thanks for the great offer!
However all the new stuff comes for free for existing customers, no new IAP's this time.
Best,
Lars
That's our intention ...
What is this, the Life of Pablo rollout?? Enough teasers! Drop the update already!
Who knows, maybe Cubasis 2.0 will finally give Auria Pro some well deserved competition when it comes to mixing, mastering and bussing stuff around
That's very generous of you all Lars, maybe next update eh?
