    Hi all,

We're perfectly on time and things run very smooth with both Cubasis and Cubasis LE updates.

Please allow me to confirm that zooming has been improved in the arrangement window, same for the MIDI and audio editor.

But take this just as a very small piece of the puzzle compared to all of the new feature additions, improvements and fixes to be released with the upcoming updates.

One of our testers asked me just yesterday "Existing users will get all of this for free?".

    So let me re-confirm:
As stated and promised before, the next update again comes for free for existing users.

P.S.: And the moment it will take is getting dramatically shorter every day...

    Enjoy being creative
    & have a great weekend,
    Lars

Thanks for the update regarding the update :)

I might re-download it and have another go if the piano roll is improved.

I would really like it to have a fold to scale piano roll like Gadget has. Guess there's no chance of that @LFS?

  • Also, anyone able to tell me how Cubasis is at hosting and automating Animoog, Animoog iPhone and Model 15 as IAA instruments?

    That would be attractive.

  • Don't have model 15 but cubasis works with Animoog just fine in conjunction with midi learn.

    Cool. Thanks.

  • I do not know everything in it but I have a hunch this will be another great upgrade. Should not be long now hopefully.

  • Just fixing the Freeze/render timing issues would do it for me.....but it would be sweet if they throw in a few more inserts slots for plugins and import/export from the timeline

Totally agree! It's quite annoying that when freezing a track the audio is 'off the grid' and arrives before the midi-note(s) are triggered causing the transient of the first note to be cut-off since the recording starts when the note is triggered.

This can be somewhat remedied by adding an empty bar before the midi-notes and manually trimming the audio-afterwards. Hardly an optimal solution...

On the positive side when freezing the built-in Micro Sonic, or MiniSampler it works perfectly but the Micrologue synth suffers from this too.

I really hope that Automatic Plug-In Delay Compensation is in place once 2.0 ships...

    great to hear!

makes me wonder how short a moment can get ...

Depends on whether you're sitting on your sweetheart's lap or a hot stove. ;)

    Brilliant.

  • I'd like something new from Holderness or Klevgr, mostly just to know developers such as these haven't abandoned iOS.

I really can't wait to get my hands on the update to check out those small issues that have been bugging me for quite some time as I hope they have been fixed.

Hopefully 'track-freezing' will be 'perfect' and 'spot-on the grid' together with more options for the gird in the note-editor :)

  • I really do love Cubasis enough to resisting the Auria Pro temptation :D

Great stuff indeed @Lars Would there be any chance if your brilliant Nanologue app be intergrated into Cubasis? Or even better still, made into a AU Unit please?........ Looking very much forward to receiving the hard work your team is doing. ;)

  • @sirdavidabraham said:

Yeah, considering the grammar, like 'put' meaning they are already done :D
(If it was not 'done' it would be "still putting their hears and souls 24/7").

Track-Freezing will be the first thing I will test as I'm so 'addicted' to the Poison-202 synth it's crazy...

  • Thanks for the update @LFS looking forward to 2.0. Hope there will be some IAPs so we can pay something back for all the work.

Who knows, maybe Cubasis 2.0 will finally give Auria Pro some well deserved competition when it comes to mixing, mastering and bussing stuff around :D
