  • Can't buy them. Only US.

That sucks. Sorry.. Didn't know that they don't ship outside the U.S. I tested wit BM2 also. It's nice to have 64 pads to rock simultaneously. The lights on the pads don't interact with the app like they do in novation tho

  • Hold the damn camera steady!

  • what's that other device in the clip?

Lol.. Sry man! ... But I was dancing.. No time 4 camerawork when ur in the middle of a serious set! Lol. Btw thumbjam is a beast. I already loaded up samples and am gonna jam out tomorrow. Thnx 4 that!

It is a "master midi hardware/soft synth nebulizer"...

Naaah bruh, it's a baby monitor. My son was sleeping while I was dropping fat beats on the kitchen counter, right after my wife ate a mustard bologna sandwich for lunch , in which she left half of it underneath the CMD t64

  • It looks like it doesn't respond to many of your touches about halfway through the video? Or am I just not understanding how it's meant to work?

Lol At first I had to actually think about what he was referring too... I forgot the baby monitor was even in the video!

I made that vid right after I got it out the box so I didn't know what I was doing. It's solid tho! ZERO latency! Everything responds perfectly. I never rocked a real launchpad b4. I owned a mpc 2000xl tho. Of course this is in an entirely different category.. But I like the pads on this. The pads are way better than the ones on my akai mpk mini midi controller. Those type of pads r trash IMO

The pads on this Behringer launchpad knockoff aren't velocity-sensitive are they?

Nope, but for the price in the link that I posted... Ya can't beat it. I doubt that the seller will have these much longer for $35. I bought an istudio202 from them for $40 a few months back. These items were brand new! I think he ran out of the Behringer docking stations already. I just wanted to let ppl know about this deal.

Definitely! When he woke up I let him jam out on it and he showed me a few things! Honest to god, kids are so random that they discover things we would never think of. I didn't know that u can solo the effects, and stack them... then take them out the mix all at once. Pretty cool because I've seen no reference to this anywhere else online. The manual was only like 2 pieces of paper. Not much to it

This controller emulates the Launchpad S, so you should be able to find information applicable to both.

For example, Image Line (FL Studio) has this sweet reference list.

    Thanks for the info, bruh.

No problem, 1 more thing. This was so easy to hook up to the iPad with camera connection kit. the piece of paper that came with it said " hold down the 2 mode buttons (top left hand corner) WHILE plugging in the usb cable" and that's it! It puts it in novation emulation mode. The red lights will run across the entire pad to let u know it's ready

  • Other than the Launchpad iOS app, what other iOS apps is this controller used for? I've never used one of these 8x8 types before.

Novation developed the Launchpad with Ableton, so it's made for use with Live for clip launching and live performance. Ultimately though, it's a programmable MIDI controller you can use as keyboard, drum pads, or trigger mechanism for a sampler. I'm sure there are a number of other creative uses.

Thanks. I don't use Ableton Live, or PC's or anything, so I'd be tasked with finding neat ways to use it with my iPad.

We would very strongly urge support for the Novation Launchpad over this product and brand. Even if solely on moral grounds. Secondarily, the new colour modes are a great leap forward, and will support innovative companies to push things forward.

I do agree with you. The CMD t64 usually goes for $90.00
If I was going to spend that amount of money I would just buy a real launchpad! Being new to this site, I just wanted to share this "sale" with the ppl on here. This item did prompt me to buy the add on features in the launchpad app tho.Thank you for creating such great apps!

  • Thanks! Worth it to me as a midi controller.

The coloured pads really do make a difference for navigation, especially in the heat of a hectic and pressure filled performance :), back that up with the excellent customer service that all on here know that Novation provide.

  • This is back again, but priced at $49. However, rumor has it they will accept $35 or less if you want to make a offer.
