Hope so. I only use the app as a host for synths to go through fx and amps, so AU would be a god send (especially with how unreliable IAA seems at times).

For me its all hiss whether it's the sim alone, the amp alone, things together, etc. I'm not sure why. My iPad has been funny lately, I think 10.1 has made it very slow for some reason. I think a restore and fresh install of apps is in order as soon as I get a chance.

    Aww, that's too bad. :/
Got another device you could try it on, like a phone, to narrow it down to device vs other things?

Oh, uh, yeah... That would have been an obvious step! I'll try that when I get to the gig this morning.

I actually like the acoustic sim, though it does add way too much top end. My use of it, though, is with the acoustic model on a line6 Variax. Since the sim is trying to add some extreme high end to a normal electric guitar response, it's way over the top with an actual acoustic, or an acoustic modeling guitar. But by maxing the Top Control on the amp model, and tailoring the high end even more with an additional eq, I was able to get a nice, woody tone out of it. I had been using Fiddlicator before with a Taylor IR, but feel I'm getting a more authentic and usable sound with the acoustic sim.

    But, it takes some tweaking.
