grumble grumble....Why is it that Egoist or Model 15 or any of the apps on my wish list never go on sale? So there's no big caveat with iSpark? I mean, it looks pretty great. Sample import? Assign to pads? Anything like that?

Egoist was on sale Black Friday 2015 iirc

Cool. This video pretty much answers an iSpark questions. Ableton Link, midi out... Sounds great.

  • Cheers Tritonman will do

I really like iSpark. I like the UI, I like the sound, I like the ease of use. Others have spoken less favorably about it, but I am baffled as to why. It's fun to play with and it sounds great, what more could you want?

That'll be me probably. Just never got on with it.

  • Man the apeSoft/AmazingNoises apps are great, just got the Amazing Noises Limiter for $0.99! All of the apps are really intricate and the interface and controls can get overwhelming but with time they start to get easier. One thing I wish wasn't so prominent on every app is the sample facility where it almost looks like samples & stereo mixes are the focus, when of course IAA & AB send in audio just fine. Maybe it's just me.

Thanks for the heads up, we all in the community gotta "hep" others to these Black Friday sales, the devs get some sales spikes and we get new toys.

Totally agree of the amazing quality of apeSoft/AmazingNoises apps! But seems that the bundles are at the moment not available. Looks like no sale for bundles. Can somebody confirm this? @lala

  • Dedalus delay vs ApeDelay?
    Anyone?

I haven't got ApeDelay but I'm very happy with Dedalus.

Does it do mostly weird mangling things or can it be used for regular delays as well?

The way Apple does bundles, you don't get a better deal from them during sales. It just causes confusion among customers and headaches for the developers, so it's best practice to remove bundles during sales.

  • Welp, looks like I'm in for Moebius Lab and iSpark...dammit.

However! If you buy the one ApeSoft app you really like on sale, when the sale is over, the bundle returns and you get "credit" for having purchased a part of the bundle, so completion is essentially at a lower price.

  • It's something when the Big Sales happen, and you already own all of them.

  • Picked up iVCS3 and iSpark. Pretty excited about the time shift automation in the latter.

  • With the apeSoft/AmazingNoises app sale it got me looking back at ones I've had awhile. I believe Gliderverb was free when I got it, either way there's a IAP to unlock the "full version".

I dug it for weird reverb atmospheres & never upgraded. But today while messing around I tried to import a sample from AudioShare. While choosing AudioShare as the source from the import menu, it brought up AudioShare and I could select a sample- but upon pressing "send to Gliderverb" it just goes back to the Gliderverb input menu with no sample imported.

Is this part of the IAP, the ability to use AudioShare? I mean if that was the case why would it even switch apps to AudioShare to select a sample if you didn't have the upgrade? Has this happened to anyone else? I did a search in the forum search and nothing I could see came up.

    Thanks...

Interesting but also a little complicated. Can you give me a simple example. I really have my eyes on iPulsaret at the moment $3.99 normally $7.99. I buy it now and if I later do the bundle (with Stria, iDensity aleady bought iPulsaret) for $14.99 how much will the bundle cost me with iPulsaret already bought?

Great price on iVCS3. Not an app for the faint hearted. :p

  • I am definitely fainthearted. I'm not really interested in learning modular synthesis. But this makes sounds you can't find anywhere else, right? (I mean, it's worth having only to think, huh, Eno used this in Berlin on "Heroes"!)
What, to us the @JohnnyGoodyear phrase, is the Happy Accident Potential of iVCS3?

"...the way the pricing is calculated for competing app bundles on the AppStore if you already own 1 or more apps is based on what you have actually spent on the Individual apps so far. So if you previously purchased any of the individual apps while they were on sale or with a promo code, your "Complete My Bundle" price may be higher than what you would expect."

Very interesting. That hasn't been my experience with...some bundle or other. Can't remember. Caveat emptor.
