How does this one compare to DM1? Better? I see DM2 is not universal compared to DM1 ( also at 1.99 btw)

  • All Launchpad packs are also .99 cents. So if you have Launchpad and Blocs Wave, Launchpad packs will work in both - but not the other way around!

I just bought it and gotta say I like it better than other drum synths like Elastic Drums and SynthDrum. I just love the visual feedback and curves to adjust in DM2...

Agree. DM2 has a better feel than Elastic Drums. It's more comparable with Seekbeats and $1.99 it's a steal. With SilQ Equalizer for $0.99 this are the best Black Friday bargains that only come once a year.

  • Black Friday sales Cubasis 50% from $49.99 now $24.99

Luis Martinez hasn't really done sales for quite a long time. But who knows. Igor Vasiliev will probably come up with sales looking at the past behaviour of his pricing. But of course the past is no guarantee for the future. BTW Korg has also a tradition on BF sales. So if you're into Korg apps I would advise you to wait at least till friday.

Thanks for the tip! Got it and like it. Love that the sequencer can have 32 steps on screen, 2 measure patterns are a much better chunk of time to loop than 1 measure. Also like the simplicity of the effects section, where you can switch different pieces of the kit on and off from the same screen, with one tap. Song mode is also arranged in a painless way, separate from the order you might have come up with the patterns in.

Hmmm...I'm tempted by those two...more so after hearing positive feedback like this...

  • Agreed, DM2 is too nice for this price. The fx are great, doblets, triplets, loads of options to cut and paste and the export (pattern of 16 or 32 steps, or song mode) options make it very easy to use your loops in other apps. Havent tried link, midi, AB, IAA yet but v happy

I really like iSpark. I like the UI, I like the sound, I like the ease of use. Others have spoken less favorably about it, but I am baffled as to why. It's fun to play with and it sounds great, what more could you want?

did they change the way user samples were handled? importing from dropbox one at a time and having to constantly save kits to keep user samples?

  • Launchpad packs and add-on features have a 50% discount.

Navichord is awesome for controlling apps and playing chords while playing a melody with the onboard keyboard both at the same time and via different midi send channels. Instabuy at this low price! Highly recommend it!

If it weren't for Are You Experienced or Marquee Moon, Roxy's first would be the world's greatest debut album.
I still spend hours on YouTube watching early clips of RM on Rockpalast or Old Gray Whistle Test. Breathtaking.

    BTW: You have great taste
