8 voice $1499_US
16 voice $1999_US
Coming in April.
what is it?
(although, insanely, my first thought was, Huh, it's cheaper than an OP1...)
Ah very good. Start saving those pennies
Thanks!
Drum machine+++
And sampler.
It looks fantastic. Why so much cheaper than the Rytm, I wonder?
Digital.
Don't ask questions like that they may hike the price![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
rytms interface looks better in my opinion, better pads and such.... I think the rytm is way underrated as a drumsampler.
Love everything this company does
This has me excited, was checking out youtube vids of the hardware a few months back.

Teenage Engineering OP-Z with iOS app.
Not much new from iOS this NAMM . Any app news at all worth mentioning? No gadget yet even. I was planning on purchasing something new but other than the vyrsyn slicer I have seen nothing.
As mentioned above, it's digital, plus it looks like it doesn't have a drum synthesis engine, only sampling. Good entry level bit of Elektron kit though - conditional triggering looks interesting - another machine where the limitations may inspire creativity, e.g. having eight more-or-less mono step sequencers for external gear (or iOS synths) in additional to basic onboard drum sampling. Extremely powerful and very limited and specific at the same time. Looks great, but I'd be more interested in a full-blown Octatrack 2.
This will be for iOS too....

They'll release the iOS version during Super Booth which is April 20-22. Hopefully the iOS version will allow you to adjust parameters and not be limited to presets.
Looks powerful - and the implication was it would be the full synth, not a preset only version!
Indeed, there is already a public beta available for VST/AU

But....i doesn´t succeed to download and unzip the mac version....maybe too early.
I love the look and sound of this thing...... wish all that is good in the world for this kid and that he keeps on developing no matter what!
Yep, I hope this makes its way into production somehow, or another of his projects down the line...
It will be cool if these rgb meters had incorporated one of this in addition to knob adjustment.
