I like how iWAVESTATION sneaks onto the App Store without proper promotion or documentation and then Gadget 3.0 is announced with the product page already to go and no release. KOOOOORRRRRRRGGGG!
I can't run more than a couple of Lexingtons amongst my 5-8 tracks before it glitching out my iphone6... Not entirely sure about my Air2 - but I think Lexington it is pretty heavy on the processor...
The other gadgets are fine though.
I feel silly checking AppStore and iTunesStore multiple times every hour haha....
Made this little diddy as a message to Korg: hurry up already!
Right there with ya buddy!
Cool!
I keep listening to Rymdkraft.

Maybe someday we'll have a proper chip-tune Gadget capable of proper chip-arpeggios.
(ie. change the pitch without re-triggering the sound/envelopes)
Errrr You're not alone
just checked again... still not there. will check again in 2 minutes. if anything appears I'll let y'all know.
Did Korg at least announce they're dropping it today, or is this just wishful obsessing? (Not judging, mind you...)
Wishful thinking. But it can be therapeutic. :-)
February release according to a Japanese sight we were told.
Try it now. Try it NOW!

Seriously? Dangit! That sucks!
A few more weeks?
There is still this mysterious 'Durban' Gadget that I can't seem to find any refeences on the Korg page...

Now do we know the February release is for both versions? Because on the website it says MAC: coming soon
IOS: link to App Store
I think they're going to release both versions at the same time.
Well aside from it being a four part drum machine?
Here's the Japanese site that says February. Y'all can decide if it's legit:

hazard a guess... the Durban gadget looks exactly like the Rosario gadget... probably an early version,, a change of name and colour scheme sometime in a late marketing meeting. those marketing guys always like to justify their wages with a vaguely unnecessary suggestion at the last hurdle..
funny how Durban and Zurich both were guessed as names in a thread here.. nice that Johnnys Zurich has stuck..
Regardless of when, It's going to be nice to see how the 'sampling' will work and how limited the editing will be.
From the screenshot it's quite apparent that we'll get some kind of 'bussing' so we might be able to route tracks to a track that contains the 'tape recorder' and from there transfer audio to the drum gadgets or something...
Hope we also get an option to rename imported/recorded files...
And well, iCloudDrive support would be nice
I can only read the words that aren't in Japanese, and none of them were "February"
I used Google Translate and there was no mention of "February" in there...
It will come when it comes
Well, hate to admit it, but I am a form of one of those marketing people
I agree with @RockySmalls above.
Durban looks similar to Rosario with the pedal switches and pots (Rosario has 1 more pot).

Here's a screen grab
YOUTHFUL FACIAL HOW COME NO MENTION YET AT ALL?
(Somewhere Kaikoo is smiling....)
Google Translations from Japanese to English are always a bit 'naughty'
But is says Mac version, not necessarily iOS version.
Since it only mentions Mac, I am going to stubbornly and against all sense of logic, believer that the iOS update will come sooner.
