That's what I'm guessing too. Hopefully it will allow any 'Gadget Track' as input too, meaning we could route our favourite Gadget to a track with Rosario or Zurich and pass them thru their effects, record the results, trim it and pass it to Bilbao or AbuDhabi
(At least I hope that will somehow be possible).
I'm probably out of step here, but my excitement will be most satisfied with some improvement with song arranging / a playlist of sorts. Any new Gadgets are most welcome, but the 'bottleneck' for me, will still be the arranging side of things.

Hmm. The tape has some 'automation' lanes. Could it maybe be that we can 'perform/automate' the speed and direction of the 'tape'? ('Tape-Scratching' ala Fingerbeat?).
And can you rub your finger on the reels' flanges to create that cool Beatles effect?
You're not alone.Same here.But i look forward to this nice update nonetheless.And i was proven wrong,i expected the ios version coming much later but of course it makes more than sense to release Mac/IOS at the same time.

I sincerely hope Korg has adopted iCloudDrive/iOS-FilePicker for this release of Gadget for all things related to Import & Export and added 'iOS Share Sheet' so we can 'AirDrop' files from one device to another or even send them by e-mail. Side effect of this would be that Gadget also accepts files sent to it using 'Open In...' from other apps.

Upload to iCloud seems to be new for audio-export so I'll interpret that as 'iCloudDrive' until I can check the released version.
I heard that it will have tap saturation. And i like seeing the grid button on the top right, less "menu-diving". Hopefully you can select it for the whole

The Mac version looks cool, but I only have mobile devices from Apple. I tried to read back through these threads for the answer, but is there any concrete evidence that the iPad and iPhone versions are getting audio tracks and the guitar sim? Or just strong speculation on a 3.0 update based on the desktop features and screenshots?
In the link i posted there are 31 Gadget´s listed for iOS. The same as for mac. So they should be exact the same.

If they just would change that "TBA" for a freaking price. I hate pre-announcements.

I don't know why but I have a 'gut feeling' Korg will release more stuff when the release-time comes...
I mean the new 'Gadgets' in 3.0 are included for free (from what is known) so they must release something more to wet our appetite

I'd really love to see a pad/keyboard sampler inside Gadget that allows 'live sampling' and has at least basic synthesis capabilities for each 'pad/sample' similar to what they do with the Electribes.
The 'process' of creating a new preset, importing sample either using AudioCopy or DropBox drops the 'flow' when all we need is to attach a mic or any source, hit record/stop and drop in some notes into a pattern sequencer...

There were questions above regarding Korg and guitar stuff. Korg actually does have a background in guitar modeling. They had a Pandora/ToneWorks multi-FX and modeling devices, though they focused on that more in the 2000-10 decade and didn't make the leap to more premium offerings like Kemper and Line6 have. But there is a history there.
I'm excited about that capability because it's super convenient. But I have a number of devices that can handle modeling and cabinet simulation and then record as audio.
I think Gadget will finally be the DAW solution for guitar music I always hoped it would be. The July updates with acoustic bass and drums were quite good.
I don't know. It seems like if you go for it it has to be all in with how thick a wallet? Nowhere near being a master of Gadget on ios so I'll just be content being an observer and watcher as to how this develops.

If there's anything we know for sure, it's that Gadget for Mac will launch with only 30 gadgets. It will not have Milpitas, for some reason.
And they say skeuomorphic design is dead
I'm just hoping we can 'abuse' the tape-recorder 'fingerbeat-style'
