Perhaps it is yet buggy and they are working round the clock to fix it in time for release?

Pretty much the same for the last show as this one but it is not the attendance I give a rats ass about. More interested in the product and this product is amazing so far and will only get better in the future. :p :D

  • Here is a little beat with a lot of sampling (almost a remix) I made to celebrate the annoucment of Korg Gadget 3.0...

3 instances of Abu Dhabi (for once I made it simple, and did not slice my loops to feed Bilbao) + 1 Madrid + 1 Gladstone + 1 London...

Peace and thanks Korg for the marvellous Gadgets ;-)

Great job, Greco. And Esther Phillips! Wonderful sample.

Thanks Dude, but the name is Grego (as my first name is Gregoire, it's French) ;-)
I love sampling and remixing (e.g. for this track, it's like "the Beatles created a nice song, Esther Philips made it beautiful and I tried to make it modern now...lol).
And the best results I ever obtained were tracks I made using Gadget 2.0 (cf. my latest productions on my soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/el-grego-loco... All made using Gadget only)
This is funny because Gadget can currently seem weak in terms of external audio support... I'm so impatient to try Gadget 3.0 with the Audio track and MPC like Gadgets ;-)

    Apologies!

  • Dangit. This thread got bumped to the top, reminding me that WE STILL HAVE NO CLUE WHEN KORG IS REALLY GONNA DROP THIS THING

  • Sorry for banging it with my tribute to Gadget track lol ....
And just to let you know, it seems that we have a big clue of when it's gonna realease as (sadly as it seems far away) a Korg representative indicated that Mac version is planned for a March release (which could indicate a synchronized March release for iOS)... It's not definitive statement but it's a big clue IMO ;-)

  • It gives us enough time to revisit what we already have and perhaps understand that we have way enough options, and certainly don't need to pay twice for the same sounds. Or even that, if we have extra ressources to spend in this field, that there are a lot of things out there that we don't already have, and that may bring more than a redundant content in an other container(mac). Perhaps...

  • I read Korg were aiming for a Mars release, on both the Mac version as well as the update for the iOS version. Info came from the NAMM floor last week (I can't remember where I saw it, so don't kill me if it turns out to be wrong:).

  • I think the mars release should take slightly longer than the earth release, though

The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one.

Much better odds than 2276709 to one

    This is really cool!

  • It's confirmed that that will. 31 gadgets means that they will. > @Philippe said:

@ChrisG You either read it on the Gadget Facebook Group or maybe on page 21 of this thread, where I posted it. :)

So every Gadget, outside of the default ones, will be unlocked for free if you already own the IOS version?

Indeed, unless audiobus input isn't supported, which I really hope it will.

  • Any chance that it's soon yet at all?
