Be interested to see what they've done. If they've added connectivity then I'm in.
Must have 'outs'. If it does it gets the money (irrespective of the lotion in the basket). If not, not.
Right. I don't want another situation where it's like "damn this app is so good but I can't practically use it without complicated workarounds that defeat the purpose" again. It's hard being an app buyer ya know?
Past experience has taught me not to buy on a promise of connectivity, as it doesn't always materialise.
So I'll wait for the thing.
I think of it (in this case) as more of a 15 dollar bean bag rather than a fence, but we wait all the same...
Is there anyone who has taken the plunge on this yet?
Intrigued...
@brice I think. Any feedback so far ?
Oh thanks I missed that post earlier.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to spend much time with it yet. Waiting until my schedule will allow many consecutive hours to be occupied by one thing. It's very deep, and nothing about it is familiar, which is a good thing of course. Though it does have a certain TC11 vibe going on. It's definitely a unique creature. And it doesn't appear to be something one can learn the ins and outs of too quickly. BUT......what I've heard thus far is beautiful.
Tc-11 without the menu scrolling i hope
Thanks, and good luck when you dive in
Thankfully, yes. But it's kind of a pick your poison scenario at the moment.......the complexity, it's very real, as seen below. But I will say most of the stuff in these screenshots makes sense from a synthesis / sound design perspective. And the interface is snappy, allowing you to switch between the menus with ease. It's just gonna be learning what all the labeless buttons do, and then remembering where everything is when it's needed. Looking at it again now, certain things remind me a lot of Sektor as well....FWIW.
I was thinking of Sector. Looks like a targeting system on some unknown warplane...
Speaking of unknown warplanes... anyone else having difficulty seeing this man's avatar?
Yes, actually. And on my Air2 many others too. Don't have a clue why...

Oh hey, shows up on my air1 just not 2017 ipad... there must have been a disturbance at one point that wiped out etc souls etc, complete star wars ref here.
This is the kind of obscure boffinry I gravitate towards. Good to hear there are plans for connectivity updates and some early glitching issues were eliminated.
The free version will tide me over until then and the inevitable purchase.
If any of you guys are interested, here is a (very rough) video I made during some explorations with the app. It is most certainly not a glimpse to judge the app with any sort of accuracy as I had no way to record the audio with anything other than mu iPhone mic. That and I have absolutely NO clue how this thing operates yet. But here is what that looks / sounds like......

Holy shit that's confusing, but in an interstellar orchestral way. May have to get out my Millennium Falcon cable just for this puppy....which is also a good pricepoint/value comparison, because the cable's five bucks more than the app...
"She's got it where it counts, kid"
Yes, there is no question you will need such a cable. It is a very confusing partner.
This Millennium Falcon charger comes with a 34" long cord illuminated by a blue light strip that animates when charging.
I'll be ready.
Thanks @brice , nice sounds you're getting
Can the movements or tweaking be recorded?
This sounds freaking so much fun. I can't handle the wait for connectivity. Thanks for the vid.
@brice Top marks - this looks and sounds awesome in so many ways.
Looks a lot of fun, hope it gets the updates soon
@soundklinik ....I can't say with 100% certainty, but I'm pretty sure they can, as I saw a few of the included presets scooting around the interface beyond my control. I do know that all of the parameters can be modulated. You double tap on their control and a modulation window appears inside the main circle interface. You then draw in your automation ....linear events....but written circular. If that makes sense.
@Morgman73 @Trueyorky @Carnbot glad you guys enjoyed the vid! A lot of fumbling around, and one drastic crash, it was still a fun journey. It's by far the most complex and involved piece of music software I've ever used. Kind of makes iVCS3, Sektor, TC-11 and even Reaktor look like training wheels. But I'm confident it will be a useful sound design tool once it's equipped. And if they add the ability to import samples into it, it's game over. For now, I will continue to fumble and pray they release a user manual
I seem to be having problems playing the vid, but thanks for posting, I'll try again later on my laptop.
I like the sound of the modulation options - sounds similar to how they've been implemented in Unique.
Really hoping the connectivity gets addressed with the next update, I'll be on this one like a rash if it is.
