Aargh can't get to the recorded file though. Please don't say iTunes
Holding breath, eyes shut etc
Yes itunes or ifunbox at the moment. Well hopefully more ways will come.
Finger OFF the buy button
Recoiled from the buy button as if it were a hot flame!
detailed manual please ????????
Late to party and just seen this. Looks really confusing, and background is a migraine set to music.
So is this worth buying, chaps? It looks really interesting.
I think its a great app - very expressive to play.
And it's a one of a kind (in a world of same-same apps and developers mostly all trying to all do variations on the same basic approach to music making ) < I can imagine some not liking it because of this.
Ive been making some really cool stuff with it, I rank it up there in my top 10!
Gonna stick with this one for the long haul, and there is not many apps that inspire me to stay the course.
So, I bought this in the end. I have no idea what I'm doing. It's nuts, and the 'circles' don't lead themselves to predictable results in terms of editing sounds. But maybe that's the point! It's certainly visually arresting and fun to play around with.
Ooh nice update coming...
Oh yes there's an #upcoming #update and a #freedemo for #mazetools #soniface. We're also really… instagram.com/p/BYorjE1n1HE/
I really love this app. If they'd just make this IAA/AB or at minimum, allow export of recordings out via AudioShare, I'd be thrilled. They tell me the iTunes sharing was just a temporary solution and they're working on a better method. Have not regretted this one at all though. Excited to see where they take it.
Is all the clicking and popping fixed?
I only noticed that rarely on my Air2. Slightly more with my iPhone SE while out motorcycle camping and streaming output to a portable bluetooth speaker, but never a show-stopper. Haven't played with it much with the 10.5 pro, but haven't noticed anything in the limited amount of time I'm played with it yet.
EDIT: might have to backpedal on the "rarely" descriptor. I did notice it on the Air2 every now and then, but I loved playing with it and the sounds it's capable of, so much that I was likely more forgiving and willing to overlook any occasional clicks, etc. than some of the rest of you might be. I will say that it was significantly reduced with the last update.
One of the ones I was (I think) glad I bought, could see the vast fun of it, but immediately put it in the sock draw to wait for something more than the iTunes trouble....we'll see. Hope so
Yeah, I'll be messing around in it... just aimlessly twiddling, when something incredible starts to come together. Then I'm like, "Dang! Lemme record this biatch! Oh wait, iTunes sharing only... oh well, back to the drawer play with the underwear gnomes for you Sunshine."
Just saw a you-tube video about it and i wonder why there isn´t much mention anymore. Is it the usual hype and then let it go thing? I mean this is one of the few apps which really looks like a touch screen app rather than something i would prefer to control with my trackpad.
So what´s wrong with this one. Shame i can´t demo apps (still wonder why because i thought it´s possible now).
It's like signing up for a course by some brilliant professor and you sit at the back for the first class and realize you're just not clever enough and slide out the back never to return etc...
It's a really good app. I think the main thing slowing things up is it's multi platform. So they have to deal with Windows, Android, Mac OS and iOS releases and updates at the same time.
It's ideal if you use an audio interface then you can record out. The sampler really adds a lot and makes the sonic palette much broader
Ah that’s a really good point. It’s also universal, but I can’t imagine using this on my iPhone.
Cool that it’s multi platform: a nice iOS style rare bird for my SP3
It’s right at home on a touch screen, you’re right about that. Can’t imagine it any other way. If I had to guess I would say the learning curve paired with lack of connectivity are what kept this one under the radar around here. Just a guess though. I’ve had several deep dives with it, and while it is rather abstract and a tad frustrating at first, I was able to get some fresh sounds out of it that I felt were uniquely beautiful and haunting. But the overall sound of what it does just didn’t have me daydreaming about it. And early on it was crashing for me way too often to consider sticking with it. That may have changed I can’t confirm just yet. However, I do feel it’s beautiful and ambitious as a creation, despite my nitpicks. And when it’s agreeing with you it’s a really engaging thing. Emotions ‘ mixed. Still.
Awesome~
It's probably one of my favorite innovative iIOS sound apps out there. I'd like Audioshare support for getting stuff in, and out... but other than that, it's the bomb-diggity.
I'm hoping Audioshare is one of the "platform specific connectivity" updates they are working on.
Do you (or anyone else) have the OSX version? I'm trying to locate where the user libraries are stored, as well as the Sample Mic recordings.
I don't. I'm holding off on getting this for now, but I don't know how much longer I can keep the curiosity at bay with/without Audioshare support
I tried.... I was doing quite well holding out, got a bonus and couldn’t keep curiosity at bay any more, iTunes file sharing or not. I’m going in....
It’s an ambitious, cool app. They say some midi control is coming next, but I’m not sure if it’ll hit the iOS or OSX version first.
Watch those 8 tutorials after you explore a little. They’re very helpful, as not everything is obviously intuitive with this one.
It’s on Sale now... @10.99
Does it have now the new Sounscaper module?
Adding samples from Audioshare? And recording to AS?
