  • @samu could one easily just keep layering, tweaking, and resampling the internal sounds to create custom stuff without ever bringing in outside stuff?

I heard there was layering and resampling and also internal sounds so i thought, hell, if I can do that maybe I don't need to import anything.

  • I know, I'm hoping right along with you!!

  • @kobamoto @philowerx thanks I think I get it. Now I forget the second one joke :bawling:

Hey guys. Here’s a small video with the workflow I’ve been talking about a while ago. Messing with loops in BM3 like they do on Push 2

Also a demo of how the stretching algorithm sounds.

  • Also, It Works very nice on iOS 11

Huh interesting. Still a bit fuzzy on what is going on. So the pads are sending the note changes to the sample? Like how you were playing them on the keyboard or are they their own seperately assigned pitch shifted sample copies on each pad?

No looks like the samples pitch is being adjusted in realtime to match the note played on the keyboard.
What's super dope is the legato mode the pitch changed without retriggering the sample!

This is what I've wanted in Reason and the standalone Mpc Live..

Although it looked like some pads were retriggering to me, which is why i asked.

  • What does the pattern view look like!

Fantastic, thank you. Question: are these built-in sounds or sounds you imported?

its a sampler.. sample anything

  • Btw does anyone know if this is releasing in EU time or USA time?

  • samu or anybody who's awake, can you modulate sample start in bm3?

  • @kobamoto said:

I am guessing yes. Maybe assign sample start to one of those Macro knobs, hit the A button to automate and record the mod.

  • so many samplers don't that I'm weary but hopeful, I don't even think ableton does does it?

  • Sorry. I was sleeping.
Samples are from Logic. You can zip the apple loops from your Mac and Airdrop them to BM3.

Each pad has a sound. You can toggle KEYS mode and play the pad chromatically or scale mode or chord mode. Just like Maschine if you guys are familiar with it. It's bonkers!

I'm using ios11. You have an option to record your screen. And there's a button to broadcast. They'll probably allow you to broadcast wirelessly somehow.

Sure, and it's even more fun to record a burst of noise and stretch it to the max multiple times(set source bpm to 300 and stretch it to 30bpm a few times for granular mayhem) and loop portions of it to create new waveforms or do cut&paste of random sections of the waveform to create new ones.

I'm waiting for the 'finger painting' of waveforms to drop, that will be a blast :D

    Blowing my mind here!

It seems to me that Intua is from Switzerland... But I also think release time on iTunes is never very accurate...

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • we will talk about this day in years to come!!!

It's possible to legato the sample? It's rettriggering or pitching over the sample?

It reminds me to Variphrase and would be a total winner for me.
