Does anyone else have any issues deleting samples? Press delete but they remain for me.

If they are used in an open session, you have to close the session before delete is enabled.

Ah thanks, this even seems to include samples you've already removed from the timeline and aren't in use any more. Hope they change that behaviour.

It needs more than just that, it needs greatly improved sample tracking and management. As it is, you can delete samples that are still in use in other projects, renaming or moving samples breaks anything they're used in. They badly need to implement a way of internally identifying the samples uniquely, independent of name and location. They also need to enforce checks that won't let you delete a sample in use anywhere. Basically, the features that Blocs Wave has for this.

Also, I find I sometimes need to refesh the folder by leaving it and coming back in.

Double tap or long press (can't remember) on the top where it says samples or Import or whatever folder you're in (top left) and it will refresh directory

Thanks for that little tips - it has irritated me long enough...

Really glad I read this comment before I start hating the delete button
At the very least we ned to be able to "delete from project list" without worrying about messing up any other projects. Is that currently possible?

On a similar note, I'd played in a bit of MIDI I was trying to change the sound on a bank from a BM3 sampled bank to an AU Ripplemaker yesterday.. couldn't of the life of me see how to remove the sampled instrument without deleting all the MIDI at the same time. I could see no way to remove the bank - I could only load up a new BM3 bank - not load "no bank"

  • I know this must be posted somewhere, but there are so many threads - and this one is so long - I don't know where to look. Is there an ETA for the universal/iPhone version? Some kind of approximate date at least?

Save your projects and copy the samples. Everything will be contained in the session folder. Try using the filebrowser instead of the database, this will give you more control of where things are saved.

I think the option is to clear the bank. The patterns should stay the same.

Finally got rid of all the samples shipped with this and am now down to around 380 mb's . Waiting on transport bar or the ability to use this properly with audiobus . Planning on using just for sampling now but it is not playing nice with Cubasis. Hopefully Intua gets this fix into the first update.

This doesn't make sense as BM3 ships at approx 120mb

    Yet , here we are.

Which "Clear" in the 3 dots next to the BANK is the one that doesn't delete the patterns from the Scenes and Songs? if I press Clear in either the pads view or the sample view it deletes patterns from song and scene.

I also just tried loading a different BM3 drum bank in the pads view and it has deleted all the patterns from the scenes - though they remain in the song view.

  • I hope I'm doing something wrong - as it's not very helpful if you want to audition different sounds and it deletes your pattern when you change sound.

Ahh. I never use the scenes mode so I didn't notice that.

A workaround is to load the plugin on the pad, then go back to the samples view and delete the layer. You might want to report that one on the Intua forum as a bug report or feature request.

Works great for me - very stable. iPad Air 2 iOS 10.3.1

    You are kidding right?

No seriously I have used BM3 every day since first release with only a couple of minor issues. I spent a few days solid to learn it really well and I think it is superb. Will definitely hold back when any updates come along.

I had a great run for about a week. But now the slicer is crashing tons. It is weird. I seem to have to slice much smaller files now, so i do the coarse edits in Cubasis first.

    I think

Yes I don't like that BM3 banks require samples loaded to program midi. They ought to fix this asap...

It's pretty unlikely that they'd significantly alter the app in ways that can only be used with iOS 11 any time soon. Maybe leverage the files app somehow, but I'm guessing that'll just be some sort of improvements to work alongside the import and export options already there. AUv3 apps may benefit gradually, but that's not BM3 specific, and root will take time. I don't recall anything noteworthy about Midi improvements. Maybe I missed it.

  • There was some talk last week about some other free samples coming to BM3. . Anyone know if it's going to show up with 3.01?
