I have purchased Korg apps in the past and Korg Gadget IAPs and the following week Korg holds 50% off sales. I might kick myself, but don't complain to Korg. Apps are worth what you decide to pay for them in the first place.

Those were the words I was looking to say earlier mate. :D

    Do we have moderators here?
Maybe time to close the topic ;-)

I think the mods are not here at the moment, but I agree this thread started kinda roughly and devolved from there. There's nothing much more productive to be said quite frankly.

Agreed. Feels like we're going around in circles!

    Looping :D

    Rofl! :D

Some of the replies here are funny at best.
Developer says "This is sale price, grab it while you can" a week later it is half that sale price, and nobody should be annoyed at that ?
There is a principal at stake here, it doesn't matter if it is $5 or $50000.
And for those people saying there is no difference between $5 and $15, you lucky lucky little rich people you !!!

It is absolutely ridiculous to claim nobody should be annoyed at this, yes they can get a refund, but they shouldn't have to, this kind of thing is exactly why most people see IOS apps as toys and wont invest real money.

Support the dev by all means, but don't insult users who have a right to feel annoyed by this.

Like anything else if you don't think it's worth the price don't buy it.

If you do think it's worth it and buy it don't get all bent out of shape if others are lucky enough to get it even cheaper.

Exactly... I always said here that this app was not worth more than 5 buck IMO... And therefore I waited until yesterday to buy it...
Never buy something if you think the price is too high for what it is.
But I also understand why some early buyers can be pissed here... It would be nice if the devs could clearly admit that they f+cked up concerning the pricing of the app at first and they they are sorry for that...

I've already said we made a mistake. Also the app is worth more than £5 but unfortunately for us the fickle app market doesn't like high prices. Hopefully we can make enough money to keep growing the product and adding the features that you guys want.

I literally work my ass off making this product and it's so disheartening to hear that all my work is only worth as much as a pint of beer. Lots of other devs are in the same situation too - it's certainly not easy.

I know a lot of you support us wholeheartedly and I really appreciate it.

I really appreciate your work. And I appreciate the difficulty in making a pricing decision — which turned out to be wrong. I especially appreciate the apology you made and the offer to refund anyone who was upset.

KRFT is a beautiful app that has innovated where many other apps have simply adjusted a template long established.
@ElGregoLoco , I think you don't realize how insulting your words are to a developer who has really engaged this forum and turned a cool idea into a robust environment. Probably his only error was thinking that we would support his labors after incorporating all of our demands! It has mid out! That's an extra $5 IAP in Animoog. KRFT is well worth more than $5.

Let's be civil here. In the words of Morrissey, "Heavy words are so lightly thrown."

Sorry if you think this was insulting... It's a misunderstanding : what I said it's that this app is not worth more than 5 bucks FOR ME, for my workflow, because I will use it only once in a while... I did not buy it when it was more expensive and I would not have bought it if it did not drop to 5 bucks... But I don't deny it may be worth a lot more to others and it probably represents a lot of work and love for the dev, and I respect that... And I was just trying to say that if one decided it was with buying it for 10 bucjs, he should not care that it's now 5 bucks... That's all.
    Peace.
