@LucidMusicInc I was referring to BM3 having a few dedicated instruments, like a synth, w/presets, a bass, etc. I'm aware of the free IAP pack but the sampled EP, a dodgy bass and a few drumkits isn't what I was referring to.
But it's obvious that Intua is going all in on IAP, which is not a bad thing. My comment was more from the current landscape of DAW's that I'm comparing BM3 to. I see BM3 as a total step up from groove production apps like iMPC Pro, iMaschine, etc. into the realm of full fledged DAW's. Those DAW's, especially on iOS, have a few dedicated instruments.
With AU's, IAA & AudioBus it's not a huge issue. Just a minor one I pointed out in a forst impressions post in which I state the app was so well done that any of my bitches were minor quibbles.
How big is the free IAP?
Thanks... Seem like a lot of stuff is not working... and I was thinking that it was on my part...
Are you trying to bring audio in or MIDI?
Ok cheers, that's not too painful.
Yeah I wondered about that - since the selling point for me is the sampler, I'd fill it up with my own weird shit anyways.
Is it easy to delete?
Very easy. Go to 'documents/purchases' in the browser, select and delete.
Midi...
Not sure. I think it's complex to set up, in part because of the number of options. So some of the complaints are probably due to that.
Didn't take the plunge yet. In BM2 if you midi mapped pitch (semi-tones) using a fine resolution controller, it still incremented in semi-tones. Is the result the same with BM3? I realize mapping to the fine tune does this but it's limited to a semitone. I'm simply trying to create my own tape stops. I was able to do this with impc pro.
Well, I gave up trying... It's not just Xynth, other midi apps too... I guess I will have to wait on an update...
It's working in the betas so it's only a matter of time before we get it in the release build. Maybe the first patch actually.
Great....
