Are all of you loading a Ruismaker as an AB3 midi in, then the same as midi out, then in audio tab, AUM as audio out? Then adding fx routing in AUM? I noticed in the AUM screen posted above, the ruis channels didn't say "ab in", and that the master channel output was set to AB3. Why was that?
I've been doing it how I described, but I keep experiencing instability- i believe in AUM- and losing work. This tends to happen when my phone is idle, and I do have background apps turned off, so I'm sure that's the root cause, which is a pity.
Gotta say it again. This sequencer is so, so good. Absolutely perfect when paired with the "makers" apps. You nailed it, @brambos!

@brambos I have a problem. With Ruis & FM both loaded into AB3 midi channels, sending midi to AUM, feeding Ruis & FM AUv3s, If I adjust the tempo in AUM, the sync with the Ruismaker sequencer lags or stops. In AUM, looking at the Audiobus sidebar, I can see the play/pause button for Ruismaker is now randomly playing and pausing. If I press stop in the AB3 transport, Ruismaker lags behind. I have to clear everything and reset the iPad to get ruismaker to play in sync again. This is repeatable. Thanks
Got to agree here....Have owned all the makers since release (apart from Ripplemaker which i hesitated on for a while)...not used them as much as I could....
These updates elevate them to a whole different level...
Just load them up, along with trouble and ripple maker....linked....I also loaded up beatonal to sequence chords in Phasemaker

I'll have a look! Thanks for the heads-up. I reverted back to an old version of Link after all the weird behavior with the newer Link library, but maybe this has something to do with it.
Mutating maker bliss, indeed. Why Beatonal for chord sequences? What specifically do you like about that app? I've been using Chordflow for chord sequences...
Because it is so simple, Open it, set the midi channel on the chord track, mute the audio, Select your pattern, hit the keys and hey presto...
Does this happen with ableton link enabled ? Since both the ruismakers can still start stop via Audiobus even with link on. Not seeing any drift in my multichannel ruismaker euclidian melodies AUM preset.

No. I live in Texas and have traveled so much through out Mexico, Central/South America. I have a great affinity for Latin America, and I know Bram Bos has traveled in many of the same places too. And, I like to swap out my "thanks" in other languages every now and then just to mix it up.

Checkout the ab3 midi presets I posted. You can transpose the midi notes to whatever you desire and even control multiple aus separately in my AUM variant.
Midi Out? I only see midi input. Are you talking about exporting out the midi? Or, is this something you can only do in AB3? Just looked again and don't see anything for midi out.
All of brambos apps that have sequencers have ab3 midi out. It's one of the main reasons I own ab3 for. They do not have coremidi. I've created presets that let you use ruismaker fm as a melodic sequencer wherein you can adjust what note each Lane is sending. And you can even drive something like a volca using ruismaker classic as the source.
Oh, that's right. I knew that. He told me that while I was testing Ripplemaker. Said that the AB3 folks make it easy to implement and that he wanted to support AB3. But that he also didn't rule out supporting it outside of AB3 at some point.
You can do some brilliant stuff using ab3 and all the midiFlow filters. Some of my experiments just weren't possible on iOS without ab3 midi. Also it lets you do stuff like feedback midi back into an app. Like modstep sending midi from lane 1=>ab3 midi filters=>lane2. Lets you process and record midi pretty easily.
I'm still overwhelmed with all this knowledge.

Bro had never heard of this Beatonal app before, looks really interesting like sorta of Groovebox but in a smaller package. Patterns and all looks really interesting!
It is more like Figure in the way you play it...so it is figure with Midi Out.
